Hi, so I'm only missing that one for the Squad Elite Gold Challenge.

Can anyone give me tips on how to do this? Maybe play as an infiltrator or volus and don't help with killing stuff, but rather wait for PUGs to fall and then get them up?

Just playing the game long enough will give you 100 revives, doesn't have to be on gold

Yeah, don't "try" for this one. That doesn't really work. It will just happen over time. Probably long before a lot of the other ones.

If you want to speed up the process, play silver and focus on reviving teammates. Silver is because the enemies are deadly enough to drop the regular players at least a few times a match, but weak enough that it's almost always safe to revive them if you know what you are doing.

There was a time when I was the master of reviving, but then I became a score-wh*re, and now when teammates go down I yell, "I'll revive you when everything in front of me is dead!"

Oh, and in before someone suggests spending the day pre-setting PuGs to Reactor...

That's the thing: you need First Aid medals. Which means it's not about the amount of revive, but rather you need to reach a minimum amount of revives per game.

I've 228 games, and I'm only at 38. This number hasn't changed for the last times I've checked it.

That's why I want to "try" :P

And no to the reactor. That's mean.

Trust me, you play this game long enough and you'll eventually get into some horrific matches in which EVERYONE has the 10 Revives medal.

Some games it just seems like the enemies have your number, no matter how good you and your team are.

Oh yea? Just yesterday I wished a Krogan would go down. When you want them to drop they just won't. It's the pug's curse.

You have to press the button on the Reactor first!

Which doesn't really work on Krogan...

Or "going down" meant something different entirely...

If you really want to bang this one out, have a buddy play a Volus and run into mobs over and over. When you've got the 15 revive medal, both of you rush the mob and bleed out on purpose to start the process over.

You could do it in bronze or silver, and you'd get 3 medals towards your goal per match. Assuming around ten minutes for load times and play time, grinding it that way would probably take several hours or more, but could technically be done.

But I still think it makes more sense to just let this one happen by itself. Some challenges are more effort than it's worth to grind, and I would consider this one of them.

You get a medal if you get five revives in a game.   In a bad pug game, it's not too hard to get that.

It was Dagger...

I have no idea what you're talkin' about. I'm innocent non-native-English gamer.

Just a kind little pug. Listening to the Sex Pistols right now:

Hmm I'll track my progress or maybe I can play the game normally and focus on reviving more instead of killing stuff. I can do this while I level up my Infiltrators again after promoting, for instance. But the fact is that I haven't been earning this medal laterly.

Volus using heavy melee for tact cloak or Infiltrator (obviously for tac cloak) or super stagger resistant tank KroLord (especially if you're good at maintaining rage mode. ie. one running backhand heavy melee always gets you into rage mode regardless of how you specced him). Geth Jug too with Adren mod 3 is also a good option, just harder to reach the pugs. And stick to weaker lobbies. ie. avoid any lobbies with a maxed manifest player (they usually go way too smooth for Gold with one of them on board).

And how do you get this challenge done last? I think it was like my first one done on PC?

I won't say it's my last. I only have 2 Gold challenges. But this one is at 92% so I'd like to complete it soon.

Unfortunately, I don't have the KroLord. I really want that kit :)

The memories, that's how I completed the Squad Elite challenge.

Play a fast-moving and/or difficult to kill character, infiltrators and batarians are probably the best. Don't go lone wolf, keep an eye on the pugs and be ready to revive them the moment they go down. It will take you some time, but finishing every silver match with a 5 revive medal is not too hard.

Also, don't play with BSNers.

We tend to rage-gel.

Bro just be sick and revive everyone while still scorewhoring it all. I do it all the time, revive mid combat. Throw out a snapfreeze, overload, or other mook disabler and go for the revive.
It especially helps if you're scorewhoring since all the spawns will be all over the place creating more downed PUGs. I get my 15 revives almost every game.

Good luck

Take a Volus merc to a Gold game. Adrenailine Mod III, someone goes down, cloak, run, deploy decoy and drone to keep the enemy busy around you, win.

What's scorewhoring? I understand that it's a way to farm points unfairly?

That's a good tip, I have that kit \o/

Only bad thing is that I'll run out of Adren.Mods quite quickly this way. Might have to do this without it.

1. Play Collectors.

2. Possessed Abomination.

3. Find tunnel visioned pugs.

4. Lure Possessed Abomination behind pugs.

5. Missile it.

6. Res all pugs caught in the explosion.

7. Repeat until the end of time.

And thats how you do that challenge in style.

Btw, what's tunneled vision pugs? A group of pugs? PUGs close to each other?

^Missile spawns on later waves, killing everything as fast as possible by learning spawn locales, take OP build at first and just crush opposition.

Basically out scoring everyone on the team by 100k+ pts. You just play in team for people to witness your awesome

What's scorewhoring?

***collective audible gasp***

It's solo-speed running through normal waves. You bomb them spawns before anyone gets a crack at it. It's usually accompanied by PUG complaints of "kill-stealing."

It's one or more pugs who never look behind themselves.

I'm still kind of new here so I wasn't completely sure of what that was. I had a general idea.

Well as I have only 3 nukes and no really OP build (I don't even know which are the OP builds for whorescoring) I'm quite far to exceeding scores by 100k or to show awesomeness.

But at least I can play gold with much more kits now. I'm just not into Platinum yet.
