- Venatori mook long sword blocking?  My 150th level Arch Reaver with the +900 sword of Bane and +80 ring of dragon rage flails away for 15 minutes on the blocking mook while I can take down an Arch Dragon of the Abyss in 2 swings.

- Calpernia dance of teleport?  A hardended 20th level team runs around the map 30 times trying to catch up to the teleporting hag because some of the team won't 'stairs' her.  Her thought process,   'Fools!  They can't catch me!  My minions will kill them all!  Oh wait!  Stairs!  I luvvvvv these stairs!

- Despair Demons frost beam?  Ha, no problemo guys we can take on the demons over here and the go after those flying beotches afterwards.  Screeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!  Frost beam goes through 5 sets of dwarven cast stone walls, 2 sets of floors and two burly high hit point companions to freeze yo azz!

- The Line dance missile weapon move?  This is increasingly becoming a fav of mine enemy archers or even the bolters, take them down to 1 hit point left, they suddenly increase speed by 500% and step back 5 steps so that you cannot finish them off....ever.  You then have to step forward take some arrows or bolts to the face and put them down.  Bahstards.

- The twirling polearm baton of defense?  Well we have these Qunari see and they can twirl their polearms like a drum majorette and block EVERYTHING, not only do they block all, they do it with utter disdain for your feeble attacks with the +700 war bow of the Elven gods.  Also, were do they get all of these spears they chuck at you?

- Immunities to anything you actually use?  Well the good old Qun has given their fighters a wise range of immunities you know so they can be tough and stuff.  You are a low level Necromancer and the enemy is immune to both fear and frost?  No problems I can take down their 7000 hit points with my staff!  plink...plink.....plink....plink....

- Saarebas olympic leap?  This is a good one, had it again last night.  Started a game solo one last Saarebas to take care of, I am at the doors to the next level.  Another person joins,  LEAP!!!!  Saarebas leaps all the way to the starting point of the game and starts beating the snot out of the new guy/girl.

My no.1 is without doubt quanri spearmen omnipotent blocking technique.

no.2 is Saarebas God mode + mysterious dot damage that kills you after you killed the saarebas. (Revenge from the dead?)

no.3 is the elemental resistance from quanri in general when I play Saarebas and Necro. Ice + Fire immunity is pretty crazy.

The Mighty Qun in general, their hippity-hoppety breakdancing dispelling assasins. Jedi twirling spearchuckers, and the fact they got two units that can kill you after they are dead. The power of shieldsplosion and seabass dot of death, are to be reckoned with. The Qun make you work for it

I've never once had a clue why I have died from these, I've seen the terms, I've seen things on the ground but not once have I ever thought there was any way to avoid this death.  Good thing it does not happen often.

I haven't seen those Qunari spearmen block all that much, actually. Is it something they start doing on HB? I've only seen them block stuff once or twice per zone. Unlike the Venatori mook which can attack while blocking 12 arrows, a flurry of dragon rage strikes, and whirling blades from three different sides all at the exact same time with seemingly endless stamina.

Mine would be:

1) Lightning mage that can be in fade cloak 90% of the time.  How come my keeper and AW do not get that version of fade cloak?

2) Despair demon that freezes you for like 5 seconds.   Okay I can do that with a bunch of my agents but I still hate that! ;p

No. They should do that in any difficulty.

And in HB there is only Demons, Venatrolli and Red templars.

I've stood in one place, I've run away, I've been right on top of them when they disappeared, I've been way away when they are gone.  I've not seen even one credible key as to when you are going to die, you just do with nothing around you, the enemy dead for 5 seconds or more.

For me:

Qunari: shock troopers leaping further than Superman on pcp & also managing to go through walls, naturally, postmortem payback from the shield guys...eff it, I'll narrow it down like this - Qunari.

Red templars & Venatori: being batted between 2+ shield guys like I'm a ping-pong ball...really want a pi amulet, 1 handed sword block.

Demons: There's always one that manages to set me on fire, always.

Venatori mage stealth fire mine waltz. With low graphics setting to try to combat lag (no idea if this is actually a thing but I do it anyway), the mines are sometimes invisible. The 5x stacks per tick uber buffed mega-DoT is not invisible, however. It is very visible, as it bends you over and brutalises you into the fade.

1) Qunari Spearmen.

2) 2+ shield guys tag-teaming.

3) Multiple Despair Demons.

4) Jedi mooks (Red Templars and Venatori).

5) Gibbering Horrors, flame Wraiths, demons on zone 5 of Ferelden Castle with the dragon flying overhead taking potshots.

1. Qunari Spearman Ultra Block.

2. Despair demons wall hax and their godmode blizzard in Heartbreaker. My willpower is over 400 and MY blizzard doesn't freeze like that. Damn hacking despair demons!

3. Venatori mage's spreading elemental resistance with barrier. Can be pretty nasty if you're a mage heavy specc'd into an element that's now basically useless for most of the zone. Made worse in Heartbreaker with Ventrolli fade cloakers.

Honorary mention would be the high amount of knockdowns in the game from enemies like the shield guys, but I have a PI, so it's all good. :P

I like getting pulled from all the way across the map by the Qunari Commander, then sprinting away from him as fast as I can yet still getting caught in the freeze bomb.  Also his disruption field thing is hilarious.  I never knew how awesome that commander is until I started an alternate account.

My least favorite shenanigan is being caught in a perpetual freeze chain from 2+ Despair Demons on Heartbreaker.  Then getting asked "Why aren't you killing anything?", then "How are you dead?", then hearing "Wow, all these Despair Demons are so annoying!  This isn't fair/anything like how you died!  I only died because I was the only person left alive and the Despair Demons cheesed me!  There was nothing I could do about that, so it's not my fault!"  Well, un-named teammate, you could have killed them during the minute that I was telling you I was stuck in Despair Demon freeze cheese, then none of us would have died.  <_<

I don't think blizzard from ice demon actually freezes, just chills. The ground spike is insta freeze, ice beam and throwing spikes can freeze after a couple strikes. Blizzard just do ice dot dmg plus chill that makes you freeze quicker when being hit by beam and throwing spikes.

I tested this quite a few times with Lego here. Not saying it's right but at least thats how it looks like. Also had someone else holding the aggro and I stood in blizzard for ages and never actually got frozen at all.

Also very annoyingly some times when Ice demon doing ice beam animation my melee attacks dont land on the ice demon for some reason... Its just floating a little higher above my arms reach... -_-

Yeah, I've noticed this too.  It seems that as long as you aren't playing as a dwarf, you should be able to hit them when they're using their ice beam.

But hunter don't have flow of battle or opportunity knocks :( This makes him an ultra nerfed version of throwing blades machine compared to SS lmao.

I know. :P  But his name is Throwing Blades.....so he can either settle with the Hunter or have to keep looking under the despair demon's skirt and try to stab at who knows what and miss... :P

I changed my name to Throwing blades because I loved this ability so much on SS, which implies I will always use it the very first moment it's off CD... Dagger poking? Nah...
