It's a bit difficult to pick out a favorite enemy, most of them work pretty well in terms of how they were designed to function in multiplayer. The Qunari are pretty fun to fight, they have more units centered around closing the gaps between them and their target than the Red Templars, Tevinter, or Darkspawn. It saves the effort of having to chase them down constantly.
On the other hand the most annoying unit I have encountered is probably the crossbow toting genlock's that annihilate anything they look at with a volley of arrows. It is ludicrous when you are doing the Ferelden map and on 4/5 you have at least three of them around you at all times. They have the high ground advantage on the several sets of wide stairs and quickly become a problem if you don't take them out asap.
My favorite enemy is probably the Tevinter spellcaster who sports a cloak and controls a floating tome. It's just a shame they die really easily, I feel like he would have been better as a Tevinter boss than the commander if he had a few more mechanics implemented.
