I can't for the life of me figure out how to work this.

  • I have read the sticky 'Configuring the Lightmapper and Python' forum; I still don't know what to do.
  • I have Python 2.5 and the Win32 extensions. I have also copied the python25.dll and pythoncom25.dll into the tools\lightmapper file.
  • I don't have any plc_models.

Basically I have tried everything I have managed to find on the internet so far. And I would really appreciate some help.

It is a terrain level. Here is the log I always get when trying to render lightmaps:

E: 13:43:24 - Failed to submit lightmap layout ["Level name"]
E: 13:43:24 - Job submission process failed with a return code of '1'.
E: 13:43:24 - ImportError: DLL load failed: The specified module could not be found.
E: 13:43:24 - import win32api, sys, os
E: 13:43:24 - File "C:\Python25\lib\site-packages\win32com\__init__.py", line 5, in
E: 13:43:24 - File "", line 24, in
E: 13:43:24 - Traceback (most recent call last):
I: 13:43:24 - EclipseRay v1.2
W: 13:43:20 - No lightmap atlas found. Falling back to display legacy lightmaps in editor.

I know the code '1' "...most likely means you have both ActivePython and Python.org installed" from the sticky, but as far as I'm aware I don't have ActivePython. Is there anyway that I would have it without knowing? And if so, how do I find it/get rid of it? Or is there another reason this would be happening?

I think one person to ask might be Zola_Weston. She has created a lot of levels. If she is still around??

It seems the last post they made was in 2014, so it doesn't look like it. :|
