Simple question what is your favorite party combination in terms of banter or for combat or both. I have done three play-throughs and my favorite party for banter was my far Sera, Solas and Iron Bull.

Sera + Bull + Dorian with guest appearances by Blackwall, Cole, and Vivienne.

I try to mix it up sometimes to hear new banter, but it's hard to not take Cass out on every mission. She's just my favorite tank warrior to bring along. There's been some funny banter with her and Bull. 

Sera is definitely good for some banter.

Sera, Cassandra, and Dorian are my A-team. I will sometimes mix in Blackwall or Solas. Find it hard to include Viv, Bull or Cole cause they've just never grabbed me.

So far the Iron Bull, Serah, Cassandra, I have not got dorian yet, but I just started the templar quest, blackwall isn't bad but he's no Iron Bull

I'm hoping Dorian is a mage? Viv irritates me, Solas is rude to Bull, so I hope I get friendlier mages

My B team Verric, Bull Solas and either Camine or Tidus as second mage.

 

My C team Cassandra,Bull, Blackwall and either Camine or Tidus as mage. This seems to be my strongest team.

In DAO...lover Morrigan, hated Vinn and friend Shale(i miss my own rune golem pet/companion) ....friend Ogren and Sten, and puppet friend king Alistair was good friends but they was rare in party to be 3 one after i have Shale

 

In DAO-awakening....friends Anders, Velanna and Ogren/Sigrun(i really wanted to have 4 companions in team and be 5 as their leader, 5-7 peoples squad is better than 4-6)

 

In DA2...friends Merril, Anders and Varrick....and thats all...aveline was friend but almost never as party member

 

In DAi I am kinda alone knight enchanter with Solas, Varrick what are his friends....and 3 one is Blackwall or Bull what kinda meh friends...hated "friend" Vivienne is divine and hated "friend" Cassandra was the last seeker(damn you bioware for forcing us to be friend so no more seekers sh*t in thedas) and alone after i have Blackwall and Bull

Two mages to rain terror down from the heavens, a rouge archer for high damage sniping, and a warrior to tank for me is my strongest setup.

 

My favorite team would be Sera, Dorian, Blackwall, and my character which is the second mage.

 

I have only tried warrior and rouge once each. Never felt right to me. Something about the Herald of Andraste being a male mage just feels good. Like a big middle finger to the Chantry.

Me(Two-handed warrior) + Iron Bull (Two-handed warrior) + Cassandra or Blackwall (Weapon & Shield) + Cole (Daggers) = A whole f*ing lot of SLASHING!

 

And of course,my husband Dorian if I need to remove magical barriers.

I haven't finished the game yet, due to real life things. But there are some funny dialogues, where you wouldn't ecpect it: Blackwall for example has some really funny lines - I laughed out loud a fews times, especially, when Sera is asking strange things again (does she have any kind of normal dialogue?), he always plays along in his answers to her and confuses her even more. That's just so cute. And Sera and Solas are hilarious together - Solas seems to feel really uncomfortable around her, because he started to act very vulcanian and always uses very complicated long words, when talking to her (I guess, he does that on purpose, but I hadn't those two together in my party for long yet, have to explore that). Of course, Varric setting up Cassandra is great and Dorian always has some great lines to throw in. He has a very bad timing though - he was talking about nothing happening and he starts to get bored, when he was nearly killed by giant spiders for the third time at that exact moment  . I guess, he's right: spiders in fantasy games are getting old now.

And I love VIvienne and Blackwall - they really don't understand each other.

for amusing party banter I think my favorite combination is Blackwall, Dorian & Sera. They have some absolute gold between them.

With my rogue Cadash, it's been Blackwall, Bull, and Dorian, mostly. We're double dating.
