So far, I searched  Bioware Social Network and found I could get  Exiled Prince, Mark of the Assassin, and Legacy for about $27.  Is that it for the DA2 DLCs?  Any better deals out there?  For that matter, they talk about bioware points.  Is there any way to get a discount by buying a whole bunch of points at once?  Or are you stuck just buying however many points you need to get the DLC you want?

Also, aside from the three DLCs I mentioned?  Are any of the other DLCs worthwhile?

Note:  Very strange, on the Bioware site, they mention the price of DLCs in both dollars and points.  Click on any desired DLC and they say you need more points.  When I go to buy points, I find that you purchase them in British Pounds instead of US dollars.  Is this normal?

1.  Yes, those three are the only game-play DLC for DA2.

2.  They go on-sale (very) occasionally, but there has been no "bundle" or "GotY" edition for DA2.

3.  IIRC, BW Points are slightly cheaper if you buy a larger quantity at once.  (Or they were when I last needed to use them.)

4.  The other DLC for DA2 are the "Item Packs", which are collections of gear, generally tailored to the specific classes, and some individual promotional items.  They're somewhat useful early-to-mid-game. (Again, IIRC, they're now FREE for the d/l.)

5.  The process for purchasing DLC has... evolved since EA introduced the EA/Origin application (a direct competitor to Steam). How you purchase DLC, and with what currency, ($, £, €, etc.) depends.

[NOTE:  BioWare Points are no longer used for any DLC later than about 2014.]

If you're going the direct BW pts route, then the points will be priced in your local currency based on your location as detected by the server.  If you go through the EA/Origin site (which would require having installed the game that way as well) it will be priced in your local currency based on the location you specified when you created (or updated) your account.  Depending on the exact exchange rates at the time, your "actual" cost might be slightly different using one way vs. the other.

Many thanks, Thandal!  Did you find any of the equipment packs particularly useful?

I just bought the three important DLC's.  I'm doing Prince now.  What about Legacy and Assassin.  Act 1?  Or best saved till Acts 2 or 3?

I just sell almost all the stuff in the Item Packs.  Can find better gear on my own, but the gold is helpful early on.

I usually play Legacy before heading to the Deep Roads in Act II.

Spoiler

And I save MotA for late in Act III only because on Nightmare, those Harlequins are tough!
