Hi there.

What kind of planets do you want to explore?

And...the planets in Andromeda does have a name,or we may name the planets?

The planets in Andromeda will have names. I remember last year when Satoru Iwata passed away, some fans said Bioware should name a planet in MEA after him and Bioware thought that was a good idea and would consider it.

As for what kind of planets I want to explore, all kinds.

I hope that design of the planets however is going to be more realistic, the ME1 planet design was rather simplistic.

In ME2 and ME3,the planets were very boring, there was no diversity in them. 1 sun,1 moon, exactly like Earth.

In ME:A I want to see a diveristy of planets.Planets with 2-3 suns, weird moons...rings,all kind of space stuff.

Simplistic and masochistic

Some of the planets were designed by a deranged terrain editor.

I mean some of the colonies were in horrible places to get to on foot.

Yes...reminds me of Eletania...bad terrain...but the planet was interestring.

I want bioware to get creative within the bounds of known science right now. We have found some crazy exoplanets already.

One type of world that is likely to be particularly common in real life is that of the habitable moon. Not only are such moons probably extremely commonplace in the cosmos, but their unique orbital nature around a gas giant which in turn orbits around a star, while at the same time probably being tidally locked to the gas giant - well, it would make for some interesting biology and special effects.

And this doesn't just have to be moons within the "habitable zone" of their star. Tidal forces from the gas giants heat up their moons, thus extending the relative habitable zone greatly. This is why these worlds are probably super commonplace, and it is why Io is such a volcanic place and why Europa has an ocean of liquid water (and maybe life) beneath its frozen surface.

Bioware barely explored these types of worlds in the prior games, but acknowledged their existence. I am pleased to see in the Andromeda trailer that Bioware is getting more creative. The desert portion of that trailer seems to take place on a moon orbiting a gas giant, if you pay close enough attention to the massively looming planet in the background.

So get creative bioware. Dont slack on this. It was one of the most interesting parts of Mass Effect, I think.

I just hope there aren't any Thresher Maws or something similar that pops out of the ground whilst we explore. To this day, they scare the shite out of me.

But as for planets themselves, I'd like to see some that have areas of colonisation, with non-hostile AI. Like hubs of some kind. Areas that have tech salvage markets, as an example. Other examples. A group of, I don't know, some race has chosen to start building a colony on a new planet. I'd like to see other characters doing things on these planets.

I'd also like to see a lot more detailed fauna and a wider array of animals on these explorable planets. Something that separates that planet from all others, completely.

And then, of course, planets that are barren. Wastelands, where nothing can survive.

Oh, and seas. We've seen two planets so far that have seas, one of which is completely covered in sea. I want to see more environments like that. Instead of just using the Mako on land, use other vehicles to explore other areas.

I really want to explore a planet that is inhabited by a Civilization similar to our's during modern times which still hasn't mastered space travel, or a civilization which has just reached a mayor milestone like an industrial revolution or first space flight. Kinda like when the Hanar encounter the drell, but maybe without all the dramatic end-of-the-drell-world stuff.

I'd like to see a variety of planets with a variety of activities to do on them. The ME trilogy had some really pretty and cool planets so I'm excited to see what Andromeda will bring.

Specifically the one with the giant flying alien from the trailer. That place looks like its got some interesting stories to tell.

The frozen planet with figures off in the distance looks good as well.

Exploring all the planets for me will be super exciting! By going to a galaxy that has truly never been explored in our lifetime, Bioware has the opportunity to let their imaginations go off the charts so it should be very interesting what we may come across in this new setting! Although, the fire planet from the E3 Announcement trailer truly has my attention.. Seriously, how the hell are we supposed to land on that lmao

I don't care how. All I care is that it happens.

Ooooh! I know! If, and a bloody hope they don't do this but, if they include a jump mechanic, I would like to experience different levels of gravity on different planets. Nothing too impending, like making you walk an inch an hour, but I think it could be cool being able to jump or move faster or whatever, it's Sci Fi.

That would be cool. Recruiting a squad mate from that planet would be great too.

It would be interesting to see that squad mate try to acclimate to new gravity situations.. if they come from a planet where everything moves fast and you take them with you to a planet where everything moves slow... lol I see alot of tripping, stumbling, and all out face plants for that poor recruit lol

My bad I read that wrong, I thought this was a response to LightningPoodle's post lol would still be interesting though lol

I would like to see planets with a range of colours and terrain, not like in ME1 where the sky was basically the only variation. Maybe even have different biomes on a single planet (maybe major planets relating to plot or whatever) and different lifeforms. I would also like the alien races's biology to reflect their habitat/planet. E.g. lots of flying creatures on planets with high gas density, an intelligent alien race on a planet with no trees (cellulose, lignin; how would they evolve and use tools without wood? that could be interesting), maybe tidally locked planets, where one side is scorching hot, and the other freezing cold, and any lifeform would only be able to survive on the fringe.

A scene where we have to try to flee a violent dust storm might be cool.

How about a sentient planet? Like the green lantern mogo for instance, while exploring you and crew could converse how you all get the feeling everything is watching you and let's say on the planet you have tribal like aliens(or space Amish) that come from varying species and backgrounds for whatever reason. I find that would be interesting or perhaps have the whole island from lost scenario, a sentient planet that won't let you leave and notshep is able to converse with the planet or something.

Sandstorms could be a good way to change up the gameplay, reducing visibility and maybe messing with shields.

What BioWare can learn from Spec Ops: The Line.  :P
