One cool thing that I believe BioWare should try to incorporate into their planets, and the galaxy as a whole, is the scary/beautiful sounds and frequencies that can be generated by radiation, rapid and erratic orbits/rotations, etc. For instance:
The sound of Jupiter:
The sound of Saturn's Rings:
The sound of Pulsars:

I hope that design of the planets however is going to be more realistic, the ME1 planet design was rather simplistic.
Actually the "bare planets" that are always bashed in ME1 are more realistic portraited than ALL others wich are supposed to house life.
Or people expect to find what in Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Mercury, Pluto or Saturn (and their moons)?
It's gases, sand, rocks, canyons, ice and sometimes dust, along with radiation and winds.
And that's it.
So how they aren't "realistic"?
But if you are referring to the actual missions taking on these planets, yes, I would agree that something better than "go there, find/kill this" is in order.

How about very un-earthlike planets?

How about very un-earthlike planets?
I want to see a planet that is actually flat.

I read something ages ago about whether a doughnut-shaped planet is possible. That sounded interesting.

Hi there.
What kind of planets do you want to explore?
And...the planets in Andromeda does have a name,or we may name the planets?

Uh...that'd end up being the whole galaxy. And then some. ![]()

I was thinking about gravity...will BW consider the diference of gravity between planets?I mean...a low gravity planet,Mako must jump higher, this will be awesome, and realistic.

It would be nice to explore planets with no surface. By ship, of course. Strange and unique weather effects.

I wonder...will we be able to explore multiple planets in the same solar system,or just one planet, like in the ME1?

Like Jupiter? I always thought that'd be cool to see.. sounds nightmarish though.

What are you talking about? Look around you and you'll see a flat planet!

A wider variety of interesting hazards, in me1 regardless of the reason it was more or less running out of air timer. Haestrom was pretty good with your shields getting fried. ME3MP had some decent hazards, snow and sand storms and acid rain.

Mass effect fields are used by the mako (and personal fields in body armor) to normalize the sensation of gravity on all worlds to 1G. Or 4G if you're an Elcor

I loved the Mako explorations in ME1. Reminded me of the glorious Star Control 2. So, the more planets we get to explore, the merrier.

Something in the clouds / upper atmosphere of a gas giant could be pretty sweet.

I was trying to look up how close you could get to/inside Jupiter before you'd be crushed by the gravity/air pressure the other day but ended up listening to its supposed EM wave sounds on youtube. Anyone have an answer for that?

Remember to be careful, because there be monsters that live in those clouds.

Populated ones. Seriously, Bioware do a lot of good things in their game design but making places feel alive is not one of them.

I want to see Mad Max level dust storms!
