Predictions, hopes, and fears for DA4? There has never been a dwarven LI of any sex, or a female elf option for straight male elf PCs. No female qunari as of yet. I wonder if they'll buck the two-elf trend in the next game? Since there seems to be a bit of a pattern now (one male elf, one female elf).

FWIW, I don't have a problem with human LIs. I'm just curious as to whether it'll continue like it has. It seems like every time they increase the number of non-human LIs... they increase the number of human LIs, so it's still skewed. But that probably has more to do with humans being more numerous, and having more humans in our party, than anything else.

Agree Bioware so progressive look Vivenne black. Stop focusing on skin tone, and look we have in Inqusition 1 dwarf 2 elf's 1 qunari and 6 human, yes looks good. All 3 advisers human. 3 games still no dwarf romance but we have qunari.

Need more non-humans. more mages and more females non-humans to romance....especially for non-humans and mages males heroes who always get nothing compare to humans females and non-humans females

and can be race restricted

The race of the romances isn't really important to me, it's their personalities etc. That said, I'd still like a couple of dwarves and a female qunari since those haven't been done before, somehow.

I love dwarves (aside from Oghren, they haven't made a dwarven ally I wouldn't romance if given the chance) and I'm just as attracted to female Qunari as Sera, so I wouldn't mind them shaking up the "mostly human, occasionally elven" monotony with such awesome characters.

 

After enduring Solas' and Sera's bile all game, I also wouldn't mind being able to romance a pro-elven character as an elf. (Zevran, Fenris, Sera and Solas all distance themselves from other elves. Only Merrill seemed to really like being elven and felt invested in helping other elves, but you can only romance her as a human.)

I have waited patiently for BioWare to make a romanceable dwarf for sixteen years now, and I am prepared to wait patiently for the next sixteen if that's what it takes. Fingers crossed this will finally happen in DA4 - I have a good feeling about Scout Harding.

 

It is true that a majority of the women available to male PCs have been Andrastian, so I think it's probably also time for a female Dalish elf that can be romanced by male elves. (Just not in the weird, creepy way Lord Surinen advocates, which is fortunately never going to happen in a BioWare game.)

 

I'm sure they'll make a female qunari people can romance sooner or later, maybe even in the next game. It's about time we had someone who starts the game as a Tal-Vashoth and actively hates the Qun, to contrast with Sten, Bull and the qunari Inquisitor who never lived under the Qun at all.

1. No, the Warden cannot sleep with Logain. Morrigan sleeps with him.

2 and 3: We are counting love interests, not companions. Aveline and Cole are not love interests for the protagonists, so the numbers are good.

I would like a female Qunari Grey Warden, not really fan of dwarves as LI but I would prefer Valta over Harding.

Inquisition had such an awesome variety of dwarfiness with Varric, Harding, Dagna, Renn, and Valta, that it makes me excited and hopeful to think we will finally get a sweet dwarven romance in the next game. Especially if they continue having dwarves as a race option for the PC. Also, lady qunari and I still want the elves.

Let's see then..Tidus would rather romance a female Elf then a Shem but, he will settle for Leliana in DA:O and Josephine in DA:I. Camine would rather romance a Elf but, has had flings with shems including having a fling with the future King of Ferelden.

 

Charsa (a female Elf) would rather romance a female of any race.  Rikku( my female brand dwarf) is standoffish and prefers to romance male dwarves. She thinks Oghren is a total waste of a male dwarf..

Aveline and Cole aren't romanceable. Unless you're Donnic or Maryden I guess.

Because there hasn't been one, ever. Despite five million human and elven romances, romances with qunari and tieflings and hagspawn, dwarves are still "off-limits".

Which is a shame because they're cute AF. The men are little linebackers with chest hair and broad shoulders and DEM GUNS, and the women are these adorable, smooshy, sturdy, curvy creatures who almost always have great personalities. Not to mention all the dwarf PCs who would like to romance another dwarf.
