If I may ask, what's with the dwarf fascination?
its not only dwarfs but nonhumans romances, all males nonhumans heroes not have females non-humans at all...only humans nonmages andrastians
females and females dwarfs for now not have only dwarf male to romance

The stats, for people who like to play along at home: so far, BioWare has written full romances with forty humans, eleven aliens, eight elves, two half-elves, a nymph, an azer, a tiefling, and a one-eyed Qunari. And zero dwarves. (Apparently an azer is a bit like a dwarf, but on fire. However, that romance is in a Neverwinter Nights premium module I never played, so I am only going by what Wikipedia tells me.)
I've wanted a dwarf romance so my dwarf PC wouldn't have to stand on a chair for sixteen years now.
3 games and still no dwarves...it just confounds me tbh.
Nightcrawl, For what it may be worth I am using a Dwarf warrior in a DA:I test game and she hits harder then Cassandra. However,for me I think a mage is the better pc. I will continue this test game though. Yes,Rikku still has her "Z" style face brand. 
I simply could not resist the temptation when I looked through the tats and found that brand. 
Even Verric mentions she must be a smuggler.
As far as Sigrun I wish she could be romanced in DA:A and Harding in DA:I.
I also wish Velanna could be romanced in DA:A.. It would be nice to have a romance between two Elves..
As a update and a interesting turn of events in my Dwarf test game Rikku's criminal past with a Carta has caught up with her. I wasn't expecting that. One of the possible answers describe her criminal duties which I used.. Josephine starts the conversation off with repeating a rumor concerning Rikku's past.

Why the f*** couldn't we flirt with Sten? At least flirt.
Even an NPC - Bann Teagan - was flirtable.
Just give me damn dwarf romance already.
My dwarf ladies and boys are sick of all tall humans, tree-lover elves and mountain tall qunaris. When will fellow romanceable dwarf come to stage? And worst part is dwarf companions/ npcs are ones who are most interesting and worth romancing yet none of them is option.
