I have 4 (four) DLC that I have to get: Spoils of Avvar, Spoils of Qunari, The Descent and Trespasser.

 

My question to you (all) is should I just go ahead and buy the GOTY Edition or purchase the DLC separately?

At the moment, the game of the year edtion is priced at $40 depending on what merchant/vendor you use.

 

If the 4 dlc's are purchased seperately, it will cost about $40

 

So with the game of the year edition, the person gets all dlc's, the deluxe upgrade and the game itself.

I was worried for a minute that I was going to have to redownload my game, but it appears I will not have to. I lost about 3 pennies doing it this way, but since I had trouble trying to buy the DLC by itself from origin, I am pleased I was able to lose those three pennies so that I can get the GOTY edition and just DL the extra content.

Don't purchase the Spoils DLCs separately. They are mostly useless but that's just my opinion.
