I specifically mean things like good 4k optimization. And the necessary high-res textures to not make the images look ugly sometimes like backdrop images were in ME3 (remember noveria god that was horrific)

Also as far as PC optimization goes the advantages of the new API. Battlefield 4 made excellent use of resources and ran very smoothly and looked fantastic for a really reasonable amount of resources, even more so if you had AMD GPU's with Mantle support.

I highly doubt that Vulkan will be supported but DirectX12 is really powerful if the devs  utilize Asynchronous shaders, (luckily my R9 290x already supports that, although I have doubts with 4k that the GPU will be able to handle it, so new one I guess) they're insanely powerful. Hopefully PC optimization will be good.

Nothing has been officially released so any specs currently available are merely speculation.

I'd wait another 9 months or so...

We're not going to know anything about the optimization until it's actually released.

Looking at Star Wars Battlefront will give you an idea of what Frostbite currently support, but it's not quite the same type of game as ME Andromeda will be. The next game to release with Frostbite this year is Mirror's Edge Catalyst (spec not out yet, release in May), but then again not the same type of game as ME Andromeda.

Also DICE/EA tech director made this claim last April (2015) about the engine.

If you can run Battlefront at max specs with decent performance you can probably run ME:A decent at 30fps like it will run on consoles.

CPU: Intel Core i3-6300T or equivalent OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or later RAM: 8 GB Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 / ATI Radeon HD 7850 with 2 GB of Video Memory Free Disk Space: 40 GB

This is the minimum required specs for Star Wars Battlefront, made in the same game engine as Mass Effect: Andromeda, which leads me to believe that they will have resembling, or even the same specs as they run on the same software.

However, it is way too early to make suggestions like this, as it can change drastically towards the end of the developer cycle, and varies heavily from developer to developer.
But yeah I'd guess something like the above.

It'll likely have similar requirements to DAI. A little higher perhaps given it's new gen only this time but we won't likely know anything for suer until at the earliest at some point during the summer I'd say. It's possible the specs for the game might be revealed at E3 but again this is only speculation on my part and I could very well be wrong  I'm just saying that it's likely that will be the earliest we'll see any info regarding that and again that's assuming everything remains on target and dosen't get delayed.

MEA will release like 1 year after Battlefront, so I'd be pretty dissapointed if MEA would not look as good as Battlefront to be honest.

I think Battlefront's hord mode gives a good impression of what MEA MP might look like.

you have to remember that budget allocations will be much different for ME:A than for Battlefront.  I imagine the usual "SP and MP have separate budgets" stuff will be the same  for this game as with previous BioWare games. also I would imagine they won't care as much about backdrops as Dice did.

Sadly no info about it yet(and not anytime soon) sweetie.

Only thing I can say for sure is that it will be on 4 cores min as DA:I was.

Well, I don't really expect it to be as well optimized or as well executed as Battlefront. Remember Battlefront came from DICE, and DICE wrote the engine. They're the ones who really knew how to work with it.

In terms of facial animation and motion capture integration I would like to see it to be on the same level as BF4. They did an amazing job there, maybe they can even do it a little bit better.

Well take the specs for DAI then just add 2 years to hardware improvements and you have it. I would probably say a bit higher than medium specs for Witcher 3 would be the lowest for MEA.
