Hello, New here because my friend has a problem(Didn't know exactly where to put it)

So on origins my friend is trying to download the free dlc that adds stuff to the multiplayer, but whenever he does it tries to make him buy Bioware points and he ends up not being able to get the dlc. I already have the dlc and dont remember if i had to go through this but it makes it rather hard for us to play together. 

Can anyone help me out a bit?

Before you launch the game, on Origin, go to the game card for Mass Effect 3.  Down below and listed are the DLCs and they should be marked as free.  Click on each and Origin will sort out the downloads.  That should be all there is to it.

In Origin, I believe the download link for each of those DLC does say "buy now" but the cost will always be 0 bioware points. 

 

Everything else is paid content for SP and requires a purchase or Bioware points. It sounds like he is clicking on the SP DLC, and all of those require Bioware Points.

I thought the endings were great, but there's a whole nother forum over that way for those kinds of arguments. I was trying to think of all the free dlc but I missed the part where ttt specified mp dlc, she got all the bases covered already.

Well, it's not like it changed anything. It just means the Starbrat talks a lot more and you get a slideshow of the consequences of your decisions, ending with a brief scene implying that Shepard survived the Destroy ending.

 

It's still stupid and bleh.

I only saw the extended cur because I went through the rest of the game after citadel

I actually like the new Refuse ending (when you shoot StarBrat in the head) because it confirms that

StarBrat is a Reaper as judged by his Reaper voice when you shoot him. Plus, y'know, he kills you for shooting him.

Why would you need confirmation? It tells you outright in the beginning what it is.

What the endings needed were cuts and changes, not adding even more nonsense.  As the Angry Video Game Nerd would say, "It's like puking on a pile of ****."

It only made the already existing survival scene easier to get (because people cried they had to play MP to get it even though that's never been true). Oh, don't forget the evac scene where the Normandy lands right in front of Harbinger but somehow doesn't get lasered, all so you can say bye to your boyfriend for like the 83rd time in the past hour. Later they put Shepard's name on that memorial then leave the mystery planet(thus ruining the whole Eden symbolism thing they were going for but W/e).

 

Oh, Marauder Shields got nerfed because people cried about him too, even tho he was just trying to prevent you from the ignominy of losing an argument to a 7 year old and then having to kill yourself.

Don't get me started on everything wrong with ME, I started making a list while playing the trilogy and when it grew past three pages (just points, no explanation), I gave up.

 

These days it's really better to turn off your brain and just watch the pretty explosions.
