It helps me deal with stress. I'd rather have a fun way of dealing with stress that works rather then being a trainwreck when **** proves to be too much.

 

I can relax there, with someone who's dominant. I know they won't do anything to hurt me in a way that I am not comfortable with, and I trust them with every ounce of my being. It's a way of giving yourself entirely to the person you're with, saying that you feel so at ease around them. That you trust them. It's not the pain that's amazing. It's the control in the bedroom, how it's her will guiding me.

 

It's about catharsis, at the end of the day. A means of emotional and mental release, over physical. And if it helps me feel a bit more comfortable with my life, then I'd say it's worth it. Bruises and all.

 

Besides, hickeys are seen as perfectly normal and acceptable -- even praised! -- so I fail to see how a bruise from being sucked is any different then one from being bitten or hit. At the end of the day they're still bruises that stem from mutual and consenting acts of intimacy. 

 

AND it's a way of self-exploration. Why should I bottle that down and repress it? Because other people, in their narrow-minded outlook on how to be intimate, see it as taboo? ****** on that. I do what makes me happy and they can do what makes them happy. If the extent of that is just traditional sex, go ahead. I'll do that and so much more, and be dominant with people as well if they want to be submissive to me.
