Sorry if this has already been mentioned but Nexus Mods released a statement at the start of December basically saying that they had been hacked. Unfortunately for me I only found out today. In fact if I hadn't signed up to receive notifications from Have I been pwned? following the big adobe hack, it could have been even more months before I found out.

 

So it's change your passwords time again, I'm afraid.

If you registered after July 22nd, 2013 then you should be okay. It's probably better to be safe than sorry and change password anyway though.

I wish I never used their website. They don't delete accounts. They can't manage security well and don't let you scrub your info from their DB. Requests for deletion result in banning, which is an absurd solution to the problem.

 

FYI - this is why i use my NWN handle in email for that. Nothing essential is associated with that email. I recommend others never use their main email on a game forum or the like.

Damn it, doubt that they would use my password, but the fact they have my email will even further increase the amount of spam I get.
