I really enjoy this guy but can't decide wether to take lash or not. I usually run the wraith with warp ammo. I play mostly gold and some platinum. Thoughts?

I've been using a no-Lash build lately but found myself missing it, so I respecced. Lash is a fun power, and has some uses (outside of trolling teammates with a-bombs), even with only 3 ranks in it. 66644 or 66653 seem ideal, though I find the batdept a little too squishy with only 3 in fitness (I want a power amp on him).

I play him without lash.
To get the best out of lash you have to go until rank 6 because of shield penetration. So you would have to trade another evolution for it.
Warp and Cluster nades are out of discussion. I like the power damage evolutions in passives on my granade kits and I like the beefy fitness because lolnododge and I like a power amp on him.

My SmashBros get lash, though.

I'm not that extreme of a fanboy follower of the High Lord, but I have to admit - killing a Brute with a Warp - Claymoar - Clusters - combo is something beautiful.

Slasher is the only kit in the game who can detonate four biotic combos: Warp+Lash, Lash+Warp (a bit tricky, but doable), Warp+Nades, Lash+Nades.

6/6/6/5/3 is the way I run him with a power amp IV, he's squishy that way (no dodge and no blade armor like the rest of the Batarians). Lash makes sense on him (like the Phoenix adept) as he can grab an engineer setting up a turret or a phantom (unless she decides to troll you and dance around 10 straight tries to hit her).

Mainly the Talon, would probably also go more with the Wraith if the troll store give me more shotgun amps instead of sniper amps and targeting VI:s.

With lash I guess.  I don't really like this character though.

 

Keep pulling points out of one or the other passive until you get enough for the biotic powers.  If you want to skimp, you can drop Pierce.

Maxing Lash with 4b-5b-6b is the way I prefer.  He can spam it when needed and even looks pretty nasty doing so.  BatSlasher swag.

 

And when considering your Tin Can vs High Lord option...the answer is Raider.

 

 

Edit:  And seeing Salarian Venom Bejeezus' post reminded me: Venom BatSlasher is pretty nasty.

So to recap:  Tin Can vs High Lord should result in--> Raider or Venom.

I'm in the No-Lash camp for general purpose. Warp has more universal uses whereas Lash is situation-dependent. Also as much Claymore as you can strap on 'im.

 

That said, I've been tempted to spend Respec-cards for more adequate hatesurfing - although Shockwave on the BatSent usually scratches that itch.
