You guys are really awful at derailing threads. It's almost like a rule past page 2 in this forum now.

Well it's about the old days, about storytelling and how the continuation of story collides with expectation. Since MEA is kind of in the same spot and the Andromeda forum is full of romance threads this might as well just go here.

The friends, - somebody was ALWAYS online - I barely had to PUG. People coming up with "smart-ass tactics", like 3 Demolishers' setting up Pylons at an ammo box, and a KroSol and just chug Inferno and Arc grenades all day at everything.

Fearing of getting the Reapers in a U/U/G game.

The butthurt, when they released all the volus, asari and everything else, before the InfiDrell.

Weekend operations of course.

No cheese weapons, like Venom, AcLOLyte, and certainly could live witohut the release of the Sexbot and the PUGGernaut, ruining Platinum PUGs.

All need to chill with complaining about derailing. It's the only lifeline this forum has left. Besides, derailing leads to some very interesting discussion sometimes. If you don't agree, you don't have to read it, as that's a much better option then getting BioMods to shut everyone up. As if this place isn't quite enough.

I have to agree. Wasn't actually complaining, it was more of a cynical observation but it's hard to read the tone just from words sometimes.

Been reading these last 3 posts while listening the the video of "What is Love, baby don't hurt me." That Abramsrunner posted in the music topic. Needless to say it made these last 3 posts super epic in the process. ie. "Free likes for everybody!"

Mostly I bemoan the fact that multiplayer's higher difficulty has made singleplayer mode so much easier for me.

Gee, I thought the Empire was cool and that, once. You know - sexy British accent, Imperial March, a powerful heavy mouth breather....

I don't think the First Order can live up to it - they're just like some Nazi criminal war gang. Do they still have British accents? I watched the localized version.

No, not really. Finn had to suppress his british accent, Hux is irish and Phasma barely had lines. Kylo Ren is from California.

The Phasma character went a bit wasted - did I miss how she was thrown in the trash compactor or did they really just talk about it? Also, why would she be so eager to help them? Ah, well.

Phasma may still be alive, same as Han Solo. Sequel bait etc.

Oh, I forgot. Daniel Craig sounds british, of course. He was the JB-007 trooper who freed Rey after she did the Jedi mindtrick.

Craig played the storm trooper? Lol. I guess he's a Star Wars fan?

Yup.

Simon Pegg was in it, too. As the alien overseer on Jakku, who traded Rey's scrap in for food.

No way, I definitely didn't know that! Nice!

As for the movie itself, Ren and the first order was kind-of a letdown but Finn, Rey and Han were great and while it wasn't without faults, overall it was pretty fun Imo.

Still dreaming about electric sheep Nat?

On topic though, I miss the N7 challenges and weekend runs. Oh and the glorious unadulterated mozzarella that was the Krysae!

Where is salarian master race trying to convince people that the force awakens wasnt complete ****?

Here's The List, in order of bestness:

1 - The Empire Strikes Back

2 - A New Hope

3a - Return of the Jedi

3b - The Force Awakens

(These are arguably interchangable, as Jedi had some long draggy moments as well as utter nonsense, but offset by some kickass scenes with Luke and Vader)

5 - Revenge of the Sith

6 - Attack of the Clones

7 - The Phantom Menace

8 - Star Wars Christmas Special

So as you can see, The Force Awakens is solid in the upper 50% of best Star Wars movies.

If we're going to be off topic anyway... I have never, ever understood the hype of The Empire Strikes Back. Why do people love it so much? Is it Lando? The Jedi training sequence? The Hoth scenes? I thought the movie lacked excitement. Return of the Jedi is my favorite. It's got the best scene in Star Wars (the throne room), Ian McDiarmid, the green lightsaber, General Lando, and a space battle for all the marbles. I'd rank them more like this (Force Awakens is terrible, btw).

1. Return of the Jedi
2. Revenge of the Sith
3. A New Hope
4. The Empire Strikes Back
5. The Phantom Menace
6. Attack of the Clones
7. The Force Awakens

One thing I will give the new movie credit for though, is that John Boyega is a great actor.
