Here's The List, in order of bestness:

 

1 - The Empire Strikes Back

2 - A New Hope

3a - Return of the Jedi

3b - The Force Awakens

(These are arguably interchangable, as Jedi had some long draggy moments as well as utter nonsense, but offset by some kickass scenes with Luke and Vader)

5 - Revenge of the Sith

6 - Attack of the Clones

7 - The Phantom Menace

8 - Star Wars Christmas Special

 

So as you can see, The Force Awakens is solid in the upper 50% of best Star Wars movies.

I agree with this list, with the exception that I'd actually put TFA above ROTJ, which I'd put even with ROTS at 4a and 4b. I don't care that it was an original, it had goddamned Ewoks.

Also you forgot the shitty Clone Wars animated movie that is also canon, an honest mistake considering how forgettable it was. I'd put it between Clones and Phantom Menace somewhere because Gungans.

How, exactly, is Solo going to be alive? After being impaled on a light saber and cast into an abyss? I mean okay, the movie didn't make much of a sense already, but that would make it a comedy, lol.

I actually miss the first day of the newest Reckoning DLC, and everybody everybody playing with mostly new kits. And how new pugs without a new kit would look at you when playing as new kit (my first and only unlock at the very start was the Collector and everybody was checking him out in between waves. But I really wanted the jug first to join other Jugs in doing light melee high fives to each other for having unlocked the mighty Puggernaut).
