I'm having trouble getting some of my save game info into the keep. One of my characters is there. However, I have another one which isn't getting into the keep. The character is on my dragon age profile diagnostics page with a row of 4 green ticks, but not on my profile page and not on my keep.I've filled in the survey form (hopefully correctly) but not had any answer.

I'm a little uncertain of where to go from here.

What's the point in trying to sync your save game since you're going to have to manually pick the choices you made in said game? And you can upload a pic of your character manually, and I'm pretty sure manually name him to be the one that you used in-game as well. Syncing the old way is not really supported as you can see.

the point of trying to sync is that you don't have to manually pick the choices

That is not true for DAO and DA2, it only imports your character as in a picture of them and their base statistics like class, race and origin, not your actual save.

In retrospect, I womder if syncing was a bad idea. It seems to have given a lot of players the wrong idea.

@ thosrtanner: Save imports were considered unworkable because the DA:O saves are bugged. Some data isn't stored and some is stored wrong. They'd always need to be edited manually anyway.

I realise that it was/is bugged but it gives a much better place to start from than nothing at all, and it did get a fair chunk of my history right on the character it did install.

No, it didn't. It's just coincedence your worldstate was close to the default. The Keep quite literally does not import any choices at all. Not one. It was never intended to and it never will. You'll always have to enter every choice manually, whether the import works or not.
