Though choice between SI and QFI

 

SI is amazing for sniping, and durability thanks to energy drain, and support with damage vulnerability prox mines.

 

QFI has stickies when properly used can mean instant death for phantoms at close range, as well as bum bum and accent.

 

 

Seriously biower, please let us make reasonable custom kits in ME:A multiplayer. I want a QFI with invasive scan recon mines, and energy drain so badly.

Absolute favourite character?

 

That question is beyond comprehension as there are way too many variables. Variables that you can endlessly calibrate and tweak and even make a scrap to working combo, while others might be go for "ah yes, this and that combo, we have dismissed it's existence". But that's not all, as some might go for hips, some for reach and flexibility, one could go for speed and dancing assassins, someone just likes to headbutt everything, while others will go for blue/purple ladies, spreading fear with biotic gods, hopping around and burning everything with fire, slaving the enemies, going robot or feeling what it's like to be bread and butter of alliance or belonging to special or paramilitary forces.

 

And all that just so they can say, "this is my favourite character on the Mass Effect mpd". Ah, yes, I guess I should go for topic now.

 

I don't really have absolutely favourite as I like lot of classes/kit combos. But if I got to say something, then my top 3 per class is....

 

Adept: Drell, Fury and Human

Soldier: Havoc, Tsol, Destroyer

Engineer: QFE, GE, Volus

Sentinel: Paladin, Valkyrie, Warlord

Infiltrator: SI, GI, FQI

Vanguard: Asari, Kroguard, Cerbguard

All that weapon bonuses count for nothing when hit with swarms, as your claymore/wraith loses accuracy.

 

Avoiding swarms is easy, specially for the HA. They also aid setting up singularity - warp/shockwave combos to kill those pesky- dodging captains.

Why do you spec in Bonus Power (TC)? Afaik you can place and detonate Recon Mine without breaking the Cloak anyway.

Why do you spec in Bonus Power (TC)? Afaik you can place and detonate Recon Mine without breaking the Cloak anyway.

 

You sure about that? I would say you can detonate but not place the Mine without breaking TC.
