Can they be found in random crates all over the deep roads or only the crates locked behing the geared doors? Seems whenever i loot a random crate i get random items. But when i loot the crates behind the locked doors i get the dlc weapon schematics. They do seem to be limited to one per room though. I have three doors left (5,7,9) but only one is listed as having a dlc schematic in it. So that would mean one more weapon schematic. But as far as i can tell i have 2 weapon schematics i havent found. The lyrium staff and bianca arms 7.

By the way, can anyone point out to me where the 7th geared door is? It's the only one i haven't and so far can't find.

Found the 7th door and got the lyrium staff. But that still leaves the Bianca Arms 7 unfound. Can it be found in other locations in the deep roads or only behind the gear doors because i'm all out of doors to loot.

If I remember properly, the Bianca Arms are found in a chest under the giant Paragon Statue. You need to unlock the proper mission (I think it's that one: http://dragonage.wik..._Central_Bridge), return to the base, use one of the advisor - as a result it will add wood bridges and ladders allowing you to reach the Paragon's coffin. There a few chests around, one of them with the Bianca Arms.

That big statue in the middle? You mention coffin is it there at the base of the statue? I know exactly where that is but i don't remember chests being there.
