Shepard and Anderson obviously should have gotten it on.

"Mr. Anderson, are you trying to seduce me?"

@autumnrose: you really like assuming things. I never said anything about mean or bossy or tells you what to do and be.

I just want to seduce the PC's superior officer.

Ew gross who would want that? A mean bossy romance that tells you what to do and be. No thanks

I like my weak skinny submissive kissass boys.

I would guess submissive guys actually just want to be passive and make you do more work. Which kind of defeats your fantasy of being dominant, doesn't it? More work... ;)

Garrus is technically your superior the whole trilogy. That his rank is under a different chain of command does not diminish his standing. Especially given the unified front presented at the end.

Better idea: how about romances are just out of the chain of command, period?

A civilian romance would be a pretty nice change I think. Could bring up a lot of issues (positive and negative) which you wouldn't see otherwise.

He's not the only one by the end. Kaidan gets promoted to Major and outranks Shepard in their own COC. Tali can be the same rank as goddamn Hackett by ME3.

It must be canon that Kaidan gets booted then. ;)

Turians don't matter though. Seriously...

Except Hackett is actually important the Quarians-not so much.

The Alliance never needed to strap guns on to massive habitats to be a legitimate military threat.

"Detective" in ME1, so not clear to me why he would be above Shep in rank in ME1.

In ME2 he doesn't really have one at all.

In ME3 he is an adviser and headed a task force, who knows what rank he really is.  He doesn't answer the question about how far down in the meritocracy he is from Primarch.

uhh.....what does such an opinion have to do with anything I said in the first place? An American Admiral doesn't outrank a German Admiral in NATO command just because the US Navy is clearly more formidable.

And anyway, you're wrong. The only thing the Alliance clearly has an advantage over the quarians in is dreadnought scale weaponry (3 liveships vs 9 dreadnoughts). Otherwise, we don't have much to go on except the War Asset numbers, where the 3 quarian fleets easily outstrip the Alliance's 1st, 3rd, 5th and 6th combined. If the quarians weren't important, Hackett wouldn't bother sending you to get their help while Earth is burning.

In my own time in the military most the 'advisers' I ran into were specialists sent over from for profit paramilitary organizations, mercenaries put bluntly, they really didn't fit into the ranking system. You were usually ordered to keep them safe, keep them away from areas they weren't supposed to be in, and generally do what they said, if it didn't contradict existing orders but...that only lasted for however long they were on assignment for whomever sent them. Whenever the APC they were testing or whatever was done, they'd leave and you'd never see them again.

Detective doesn't mean crap. He's just some character on the Normandy in ME1 and ME2

Being an advisor doesn't mean he out ranks Shepard.

Hackett doesn't seemt to care if you come back with the Toasters though either, apparently the goal here was to get additional aid, furthermore you are wrong because fishtank heads are garbage at everything they do, everything they try to do, and honestly the galaxy is a better place without both them and their creations.

I agree. Nobody on Normandy outranks Shepard, except briefly in ME1 when Anderson is onboard, and then briefly in ME2 and ME3 when Hackett is onboard. Ignoring Tali's political title that happens to be Admiral.

I think Kaidan definitely outranks Shepard in ME3... it just is.

But it's funny if he wants to ignore that.

Nice job not even attempting to address the other retarded points you made. I'll chalk your salty display of fantastical space racism up as another glorious victory.
