And people wonder why Zeon killed 2.8 billion people inside a week of declaring war.
The human race needs a bleaching.
or at least these forums do. we'll rid them of all the people who can't take a joke.

Zeon would say:joke about the 17.9 kilometer long colony we are dropping on your head at 15 miles a hour.
o.o
Or the nukes, or the gas, or the biological agents.
Zeon is diverse in methods of mass death.

Heavy risk, but the priiiiiize.
Interesting, I remember some of that but I haven't played through that game in nearly a decade probably. Do remember the feely convo you get before the SOLG, but not specifics except Archer talking about his birthday or something, and I can't recall the ending slides at all. Was probably too young and not good enough at English to much pick up subtle romantic subtext at the time anyway (was middle school aged), so that could be it as well.
I miss the Strangereal AC games in general. That was a cool setting. Kind of want to replay them now........
I was in the Marines and she was Navy, but it still officially it would have been verboten.
You actually have that word in english? Verboten?

Yes, although this would be the first time in more then a decade that I have read the word.
Because you know, its less known then what it means, so its simpler to just say what means then the stand in.

we like to steal other languages words and make them our own, despite having perfectly usable English ones, like epicaricacy

Actually now that I think about it, that's a pretty stupid question. The usage of english words in other languages has dramatically increased as well. So really who cares
but for once its not just us! The Brits, Aussies, Kiwis, and Canucks do it also!
...especially other Lannisters.
Can't blame Jaime too much, he'd have to have the restraint of a monk to resist bumping nasties with that hot of a sister.

Epicaricacy? Shadenfreude sounds cooler.

Plus in the book its actually given proper context.

It goes back to both of them being removed from normal childhoods and only having each other to confide in. Its actually a semi sweet sort of relationship, even on Cersei's end, which ultimately was absent in the tv series, at the end of the day Cersei was willing to die alongside her brother if he failed to best the Faith Militant's champion.
Which...I don't know, I always sort of looked at and wondered just how they could portray a figure that is absent all sorts of empathy and normal human process and reaction, and then deny the very scenes where she is like that, I mean they go out of their way in the series to show how cruel and arrogant she can be, but they rip out the scenes that go beyond that.
It would actually be really interesting to navigate a relationship in which you were the subordinate. In the past all our BioWare romances have been with those subordinate to us or who existed outside of the hierarchical structure completely.
Seducing a superior sounds like fun...
