Shale also approves an onslaught against the Dalish that is also an immoral choice.

True but she is not only a character from an older game but she is also a downloadable character from an older game.
Bear in mind, most of this and previous post about the subject is my speculation and my observations on the subject.

That one is Lambert, Lucius is his lame substitute on DAI, the dude that sold the Seekers to Corypheus.
Ah, my mistake. Quite frankly, I think people may have simply forgotten who he was or been more focused on the revelations about the Seekers. Depending on what you'd done in the game, he was also not the first guy to talk about Corypheus and how splendid things would be with him in charge so that might have made him unmemorable to some, if not more.

Cullen
.. He even managed to steal that honorary tittle from the other pixel boyfriends of different games, apparently =p never thought it could happen and was pleasantly surprised.

playing as female Mages (all elves except Hawke obviously)
DAO Alistair
DA2 Fenris
DAI Cullen
playing male Mages (elves again)
DAO Leliana or Zevran
DA2 Isabella
DAI Cassandra
but Favourite of the Entire series ... I'm literally torn between Alistair Fenris and Cullen those three are awesome romances and great characters that grab your heart in different but equally powerful ways.

DA.O : Zevran and Morrigan
if only Nathaniel Howe was an option, I'd totally romance him every time
DA.2 : Fenris and Isabela, both on friendship path
I especially love the irony to romance Fenris with my mages XD
DA.I : Cullen always, truth told I haven't romanced anyone but him in this game yet, also since I've only finished the game twice so far
as for my ultimate favorites so far...it's a tie between Cullen and Fenris ^-^

DAO: Alistair
DA2: Fenris
DAI: Sera
I can't really decide who's my favourite. Probably IRL it would be Alistair.

As the Nightmare demon said to him in the Fade, he doesn't take charge of his own life. Not even when he SHOULD.
Alistair refuses to take charge of his life and prefers to transfer responsibility to someone else, even if they're unsuitable to the task . When there's trouble, he doesn't confront it. He runs away.
And as it is with such people, when things don't work out his way, he doesn't admit it was his fault to refuse to fight for his interests, for what's important to him. He simply prefers to follow orders and blame someone else, the authority in charge, so that he won't have to deal with the guilt of having made a bad decision. So he makes no decision at all and lets others decide his fate.
So he exposes the Warden, who's already suffered enough depending on his/her origin in order to safeguard his reputation, since "he's just a follower" and spare himself the trouble of being blamed by others of comitting horrible mistakes as a leader. It's a coward attitude and inexcusable, since he's been a Warden longer than you. He also tells you he enjoyed the discipline of military training. How come, then, he completely misses the notion of doing what's necessary to ensure the mission is accomplished? If issuing orders is needed, he shouldn't have a problem with it. Every soldier learns it by watching their commanding officers. They're used to this leader/follower routine. Alistair should as well.
The game could at least offer the chance to discuss strategy with him and consult him about how a Warden would proceed in certain circumstances. But no. He leaves every responsibility in your hands. And if your decisions harm someone or something important to him - Arl Eamon and the decision to sacrifice either Isolde or Connor -, then he feels entitled to b**** about it and blame you entirely. As if he weren't a Warden, an adult and therefore also responsible for the fate of the group and the decisions made in the name of what remained from the Order in Ferelden.
That's my problem.
And that's why I always harden him.
Alittle harsh for someone who has been Psychologically Conditioned all his life to have no self worth. But this is also why I harden him too; I also let him duel/kill Loghain and Rule Ferelden Alone.

Dorian.
Mage. Non-controversial.
Fun. Loyal. Faithful. And Playful.
Unanimously considered one of the best romances of DA by the fanbase.
Need I say more?

so, not truth at all (WH is still part of DAO by the way), furthermore they are kind of opposites, Morrigan seems often mean and ruthless, yet she is willing to sacrifice herself for her son

I would argue that letting Anora remove your companions head probably counts as a betrayal. Alistair also feels betrayed if you let Loghain into the Wardens. (I mean, you can argue about whether he's right to feel that way or not, but regardless of what the PC thinks Alistair regards Loghain as responsible for the deaths of his mentor and comrades, not to mention his half-brother. Loghain also indisputably tried to have Arl Eamon, Alistair and the protagonist assassinated.)
Eh what betrayal?
He is the deserter here not the warden it does not matter what Loghain did if the wardens want him (Riordan and the PC) because the blight is priority then it is Alistair the one who is wrong.

In regards to Morrigan; I said acts, not words or comments. An example of such an act she advocates is how Morrigan encourages and approves of sacrificing the city elves captured by slavers for a blood ritual performed by the leader of said slavers. I believe she disapproves even if the Warden is a city elf.
Hold on! Sacrifice my brethren of the alienage for +1 constitution is a perfectly pragmatic thing to do.
Then we shall genocide the dalish clan as well because pragmatisms is always good!
Then we kill the mages as well because of how romantic is this tune under the moon.

To all Dorian-mancers: I'm going to romance him in my next playthrough and I was thinking about romancing him with a Human Male Warrior who will become a Templar. I'd like to ask you: in your opinion, which is the best race/class/spec combination for Dorian's romance?

I haven't finished a full romance with Dorian yet either (started one with an elf mage once, but never really finished it)
how about a Qunari? Dorian has a thing for Bull if you romance neither of them, but really any race/class combination would work
a templar seems quite fun, I believe Dorian even has a comment on it if you pick that specialization

I always thought Morrigan was a little bit retarded since DAO just in the opposite direction of Alistair
In DAI she was like: "Elven Power juice! I must drink because is ancient and even if i don't know what it is and i was warned about the gas and also about the price to pay from Cabelas i must and who cares for my son!"
The laughing i made with Solas was well worth it.
I'm still surprised that the HoF call her most wise in the letter but i guess love is blind indeed.....
Well, she is indeed the black sheep of the family (even OGB Kieran seems to know more than her, and she's actually the only one who is wilfully mean at people), but at least she can say she has neurons (maybe genetics is to blame here, as nothing clever could've been expected from a descendant of Callenhand the dumb and an elf whose intellect is a crime against nature) and that she did not betray everyone who decided to help her.

Yes, he does have a special line for Templar, but romance isn't required to hear it. I was a human Templar in my second Dorian-mance and I ended up liking that relationship better than the first one where I was an elf KE (mostly due to male elven scrawniness, mind, so yes, I'm superficial
). Besides, Dorian is going to need a bodyguard after going back to Tevinter after Trespasser....who better than a real, magic-negating Templar? ![]()

Isabela? Already did the "cynical woman opens up to love* thing with Morrigan.
Merrill? I suppose she isn't the worst person out there, but her passive aggressive dialogue bothers me. Also, I can't ignore how ridiculous my canon storyline would look. DAO: Dalish warrior + Apostate, DA2: Apostate + Dalish apostate, DAI: Dalish apostate + Unwashed apostate/elven god.
Anders? Manipulative and total nutjob.
Fenris? I can't bring myself to break his heart with Hawke's death. He is more vulnerable than most.

What about the chantry's whiny brat? At least he is less pathetic than the first one and would share your opinion on Anders.I'm having a hard time choosing a LI in my next and final canon pt in DA2.

Sebastian is straight, as I remember it. Maybe this Hawke is meant to be a free soul...
Yes, Sebastian is straight. This fact is a pretty big obstacle for a maleHawke... Though few people regretted, I did not like so much Sebastian, although it could have been interesting. If my Hawke fall in love with him, would Sebastian have convice him to execute Anders? Blackmail is not a nice thing ...
I think my Hawke completely satisfied with Fenris.

Morrigan and Isabela. Not sure about DAI, ladies look awful in this game, ah if only we could mod the game like we did in DAO.
Why do people say this?? I thought they all looked fine??
What, because their boobs aren't big enough? Seriously what is it?

Install a Free Love mod - if there is one for DA2- and flirt with everyone, even Aveline and Varric.

Addictress, it's probably because some males have never checked on a real life woman before. As in they've never bedded anyone before. So the only reference of beauty they have where women are concerned is that fully shaven, Barbie-like waist, blemish-free skinned half-naked elf of the MMORPH games they usually play all day long.
Imagine when they learn women have hair everywhere, pimples, fat in odd places and bleed every month...
