DAO: Morrigan

DA2: I would have liked Aveline, but since she was not an option I guess Fenris was the most decent choice.

DAI: Cassandra, hands down.

Were you okay with Anders lying and using Hawke to make the bomb?

I find Anders romance tragic, angsty, full of passion and a rollercoaster of emotions. Was i okay with all is actions and decisions? Not exactly but that`s part of why i liked his romance.

It's a game. It is possible for people to make decisions in a game they wouldn't contemplate in real life. It's also possible for people to make decisions that you disagree with and have them not be wrong.

In real life, if somebody told me they were planning on destroying the world to bring about Nirvana, I would call the police. When Solas says it, I still think it's a colossally terrible idea, but I'm much more likely to say "Gee, Solas, let's talk this through" rather than reaching for the emergency phone.

Solas having the ability to turn any incoming police to stone might also affect your decision. ;)

I agree, though. I'm pretty sure that in real life I'd run a mile form both Sera and Morrigan, but I love their romances in the game.

Your Funny Uncle,I would run a mile for Leliana or Joesphine.

Morrigan I couldn't run fast enough to get away from her.

Sera Probably just for the experience.

I've only ever played Inquisition.

My first playthrough I was a human mage, and went for Cullen.

My second playthrough I was a rogue elf and went for Solas.

My third playthrough I was a dwarven warrior, and went for Iron Bull, because it was funny.

My fourth playthrough (on nightmare) I was an elven mage and went for Blackwall. It was SO HARD to stay away from Cullen and Solas.

I feel that Solas has to be my favorite, even though Cullen is easy on the eyes and fluffs my heart. Solas's story is so damn tragic that it's hard for your heart not to bleed, especially in Trespasser. That ending was drowning in angst. I went through the 5 steps of acceptance with Solas, especially anger and depression. :D

And: in real life there would be not many people have patience to wait three years for someone, who will carry large wounds in his soul all his life...

or: if after the first romantic night someone says, that he move to your house with his cat and his dangerous personal spirit together, probably you run all the way to deeproads...

...et cetera, et cetera...

…though, people are stupid, love is blind, as you all know.

But you're may not going to call the police for a man, who says he destroys the world. Not believing you, and you would not believe it.

I realize this question wasn't directed at me, but Anders is in the running for my favorite romance in the series (can't pick just one, though), so my 2 coppers:

Meh. I'm just RPing in the DA universe anyway, so what *I'm* able to get past, and what my Hawke is able to get past, don't necessarily need to be the same thing. My Hawke was not okay with lying, and I share that opinion, but she took into account his intentions, and how much Justice (or Vengence, by that point) was influencing him. The lying about bomb ingredients was an after thought once the fruit of his labor exploded... So she had to get past how broken and irreparable he was, because she loves the Anders part of him.

The funny thing is; that Anders was my first romance in DA2..... And I don't really like him. I much prefer Fenris over Anders any day.

No arguments about IRL vs. game.

My Hawke didn't wait for Fenris. I figure Hawke is really good at letting go, so when Fenris says he can't handle it, he backed off.

When my Hawke's crazy boyfriend asked to move in, it was after three years of mutual pining, so he couldn't say yes fast enough. I'm not sure I would have done that, but I'm not sure I wouldn't have, either. I've made some colossally stupid decisions in my life. I'm told that it's part of being human.

IRL, I would have probably assumed that the guy was intoxicated or unstable and I would have called the police out of concern for his safety and that of those around him, not necessarily because I believed he was actually capable of doing it. But then, Solas just might be capable of doing that, so maybe I should rethink that whole "Let's see how this pans out" approach.

DA:O - Alistair. He's a big puppy. I can't resist his charming awkwardness.

DA2 - Anders. I'm a sucker for a tragic romance.

DA:I - Solas. See above. I'm all about that tragedy and angst in my romances.

Gay man here.....

As for Zevran,I learned love needs forgiveness and understanding, and also a helping hand.

As for Anders,I learned love shouldn't blind you and you still need to know what's right and wrong, even if it's something wrong from the one you love.

As for Dorian,I learned love is also the similarity of someone who came from a background very much like yours.

As for Kaidan,I learned love requires a little time, and treasure every minute you've got with the one you love, coz you never know what's gonna happen tomorrow.

Love 'em all.

DA:O - Zevran, but none of the DA:O romances really did much for me, sorry to say. Zevran was very fun though, and surprisingly sweet.

DA2: - Isabela, hands down. Romanced her with my lady Hawke and never looked back.

DA:I - toss up between Sera and Iron Bull.  Both of their romances add more depth to their characters, imo. I think it's a shame so much fandom focus on Bull's romance is the sex and the jokes - it's definitely very funny at times, but at least later in the romance it's genuinely pretty sweet and romantic, just in a more lowkey kind of way. On the Tal-Vashoth path, his comes off to me as one of the most solid relationships in the game, very old married couple by the time Trespasser roles around. I thought it was very well done, especially given the more r-rated subject matter, lol.

Sera's otoh is playful and fun, there's a bit of conflict to spice things up if you want to play it that way - something Bull's lacks until Trespasser (which is maybe a little too much conflict, lol.) And of course, you get to get married onscreen <3 Overall I found the romance pretty adorable, it's one I would actually replay.

Your Funny Uncle,I would run a mile for Leliana or Joesphine.

IRL I wouldn't go near a trained assassin who thought that she was chosen by God...

Josephine, though... I think it's the only romance in the whole series that's not with someone who's an elite killer. (I know she did kill someone once but at least she regrets it.) Yeah... Josephine I'd at least be comfortable getting to know, although a socialite isn't really my type, either.

DA2: none...

DAI: Solas & Cullen.

It was also both on accident while defending herself from being killed by said person. She has never intentionally killed anyone.

Well, she still being Leliana's friend and her family is target of the House of Repose, your life would still being on stake.
