 I found the cure for those who suffers with disappearing blue cursor.

1) Get close to door/console you wish to operate.
2) Hit ESC
3) Click Squad
4) Hit ESC
5) Hit ESC again

You will see your blue cursor reappearing.

If the cursor disappear again, repeat 1~5

It worked on my problem with, after saving Subject Zero.
I couldn't get out of the debriefing room(Normandy) for few minutes when quickload/reboot did not work.

Yes, this was dug from a well-deserved grave.  But it was never answered, and there was such a very simple reason for the OP to experience the error.  He had failed to read the official System Requirements label for comprehension, and bought the game in spite of owning an inadequate PC video device.  I want to try to make sure any Search from now on won't bring up an unanswered post such as this one had (effectively) been. 

The OP should not have had to learn any work-around, had he / she owned a supported video card.

How did you know what graphics card he had?
