Pretty good on GE for Overload FE spam, but boring overall. 

 

Boring = too easy and too comfortable? Cause let me tell you, most of the other ARs aren't much better.

I dunno. It has no recoil, it sounds like crap, it does no damage unless a million headshots, it's armor damage is pathetic, cos of the ass base damage. 

 

Yawn. I would rather use a Mattock or damn, even a Revenant.

Revenant is worse actually.

 

Btw... the base damage is lower because ROF is very high.

The Eagle hits harder and is lighter and more accurate. Most pistols are better than most ARs, IMHO. I'm starting to like my casters with one weapon, no backup; and it's usually a pistol, sometimes a light shotgun. Never a sniper, rarely an AR. Simplify.

^ I remember when the N7 Eagle was the biggest garbage/troll item in the game before Eric Fagnan buffed it a few times. Now it's pretty good.

Yes, the Eagle is very nice, I approve. But you guys are misunderstanding what I mean by classy. I mean it's a very nicely balanced for Gold difficulty weapon. Because you can still take down mooks very fast if you can aim with it, thus actually rewarding skill + bosses still feel like bosses instead being cheese melt with those other weapons. So all I'm saying is a little class goes a long way to make random Gold pug games more interesting. Though I understand if it's not for everyone. Not everyone can be a gentlemen.

I find it pretty dull to use. The 3x headshot multiplier is good, but the gun as such feels quite boring.

The sound effect is quite nice. I wish the armoured guys would be affected by cryo ammo with noticeable slowdown - then it'd be fun to herald the new ice age on Hydra e.g.

I like quite a few ARs actually, but ya, most automatic ARs don't appeal to me. The only ones I really enjoy using are Lancer, Spitfire and Revenant. Striker and Adas are occasional fun because of their stagger. The rest of the automatics - don't particularly enjoy using them.

In my opinion it is the epitome of this epeen concept. I actually do enjoy the sound of the Katana so I play with it more often than anyone should, and not for weapon challenges. It isn't completely terrible on a class with a lot of debuffs, but someone that is relatively proficient with every weapon would not be completely terrible with the Katana. I try this with the Scimitar + tsol for marksman on occasion and it also isn't completely garbage.
