Yesterday my friends list said all 97 people were offline. "Oh God," I thought -- "It really is the end of Mass Effect MP!" Later, I got a couple messages asking if I had unfriended since I disappeared from others' FLs. I dutifully turned my computer/origin off and on. My FL came up again (with people in game this time) and I reappeared on one person's list but not two others' even though they are still on mine (as offline).

 

Anybody experience this? Also what the heck should I do about it? I guess the next thing to try is to unfriend and send a new friend request. If I've disappeared from your FL, let me know, 'cause it wasn't my doing.

OT: yes, I also had issues on my Origin FL. Some friends would appear offline while they are online (and not in incognito mode). I haven't experienced the disappearance from FL though. I guess it's just EA stuff.

It's a recent thing yeah. I currently have 99 friends on my origin but when I come online the FL shows numbers from 96-99. Why it does that is anybodys guess really. Restarting origin sorta fixes it but not always. One time I logged in and it showed 96, I restarted and it went to 98, restarted again and it reverted to bakc back to 96.  

 

It's probably gonna fix itself in the next update.

The odd thing is that I haven't updated origin recently. I don't know why this is happening.

This happens periodically to me and the solution seems to be to close and restart Origin. Your friends that dont see you may have to do the same.

It has happened to me lately too, and so far the only thing that works is hoping that the next time you start Origin it doesn't happen again

IMO, and I'm not sure if it is true or not, but in my case, I have had a similar issue sometime after most recent update on weekend. FL empty, nobody never shows up. So, I tried to figure out what is going on and it turned out that there are some new EA servers which for some reason are in UK, not in the US. To me it looks like they are running out of band width and have to upgrade/update something. Then, after about 3 or 4 days, these mysterious UK servers disappeared and everything went back to normal. TBH, seems like a database crash, and then restore and syncing between various servers. Should fix itself. For me, already fixed.

 

ME3 servers are fine, no change, no problem.

I think Origin had a hiccup today. It reset all of my notification settings, and the default key for Origin in game, not that it works anymore.
