So we can fly around in space freely to get to places correct? How will gravity, black holes, asteroids, and all that come into effect? Will there be random attacks by enemy vessels or malfunctions onboard that prevent ftl travel or something of that sort?

I shall consult with the Oracle.......

She says that in Androptika all enemy attacks will be carried out by The Vorcha.

Seriously no idea but considering that MEA is in the same franchise as previous ME games I would say the physics of those games would apply in some manner. So basically a modified version of real world.

I can imagine Vorcha boarding our ship: TELL CAPTAIN GAVORN WE NOT KILL ANYONE TODAY! They leave peacefully afterwards.

Who knows. But asteroids, black holes, and gravity will probably have zero effect. Space is so incredibly huge, the likelihood of you actually hitting an asteroid, even in an asteroid belt, is astronomically small. A black hole would be harmless unless you got pretty close to it. And I doubt that the game will accurately model gravitational physics so you can do things like slingshot maneuvers or re-entry if you don't reach orbital velocity of a planet.

It's a Mass Effect game, not a physics simulator..
