I like his reviews, amusing even when I don't agree.

I can't really pin point what makes a game good for him. But he's funny.
He's pretty funny. I agreed with his ME3 review back when I watched it the first time round years ago.
Pretty funny, I'm guessing he reviews most games?

Not all of them but sooooo many.

"Is it possible you're dissatisfied with the ending simply because it was ending, fanboys?"

I love Yahtzee. The only remaining good thing about Escapist Magazine. But holy hell that last comment makes absolutely no sense considering the fanboys were the ones who actually ENJOYED the ending. Them or people who have no sense of narrative scrutiny. That adds up about as well as dividing by zero.
Quibbling over who owns an arbitrarily defined pejorative label is really a waste of time IMO.
But the whole "I loved Mass Effect until the last 30 minutes" line is a pretty common refrain here.
Come again?
Damn, and here I thought my vocabulary was all brushed up.
Uhh
Arguing over who owns a nebulously defined insulting label is really the trashbin of the fourth dimension?
OH, I see what you're referring to now!
But uh....no one really owns a term like that. It's not a term you buy. It's a term you're given for free, until you either wise up or...close the web browser. ![]()

I'll explain MY reasons: Crowshaw used to be a good reviewer, but now of days for me at least, he feels like he is telling his fans what they want to hear, not what they need to hear which as far as I'm concerned the worst thing any critic of anything can do. Also his jokes now of days seem to be the same old lines he used (consoles suck, AAA games suck, Nintendo suck, I'm smart and you're dumb for liking AAA games, I'm hip for not liking all popular things, and etc) for years and after a while it's gets old.

That's probably a fair assessment, but I don't watch is stuff on a regular basis so I don't really notice. It appears I'm like a baby, I like repetition. Thanks for sharing!

If you like mystery science theater style humor, where constant ragging on a thing is the point, he's ok. I find it highly annoying. It's one-way humor, and definitely never intended as a serious critique.
He makes good jokes and makes me chuckle somtimes, Although he is just kind of a hit or miss,
and it's hard to keep up with him gushing 5 lines within one second.
Honestly he feels less like a reviewer but more of a "Here's the flaws of this game and I'm going to mention very little or none of the aspects that make this game enjoyable, just the stupidity that i have experienced that might not effect a huge portion of your experience." He is also a glaring example of SP butthurt.

Yes it seems like it, until you find something that he actually likes. I was just amazed that it is call of duty. To be fair it was only modern warfare 1 which was a good game.
