The stories, the style of writing and the life breathed into all Dragon Age characters were the reasons why I loved the franchise. Sadly the person responsible for these stories have moved on:

You know, reading the posts here, one would be forgiven to conclude from the flood of tears on display that they're reading eulogies of a guy who just died on liver cancer or got murdered by Daesh instead of, you know, leaving his current job.

You know what's funny? Most of his DA characters have one thing in common.

Morrigan, Alistair, Shale and Dorian are all masters of sarcasm, much like Gaider who is a very sarcastic man himself.

I believe Cassandra is the furthest from her creator as far as personality goes.
