I just bought the game on Origin, and every time I try to download the free multiplayer dlcs it just pops up a window to buy Bioware points. I right click the game in my library, go to game details, scroll down to the dlc section, and click the "get it now" button. a window opens that says "You need to purchase at least 0 Bioware Points to buy (insert dlc name here)". Below this I have the option to select 400, 800, 1200, or 1600 points. after hitting continue I'm taken to finalize my transaction which consists of only points and no dlc. I am very confused and will take any help I can get.

I have a "déjà vu" impression. This thread might help you :

A friend of mine (who had never downloaded them before - for me, who had downloaded them once earlier already, it works fine; seems to be a very new bug) is having the same problem now, and the people in the thread you linked have been all but helpful. :/

Even more people have that problem, apparently. It says that they cost 0 Bioware Points, but ask the user to buy either 400, 800, 1200 or 1600 first, telling that the balance afterwards will be equal to the purchased amount (due to cost of 0), but not allowing to proceed before buying any.

Right click on game and choose Repair Game and see it that works, if you had the DLC already downloaded once before, then you might be able to trick it into thinking the DLCs are still there to *fix* or it may fix something in the base game to allow all DLC to then be downloaded

If nothing works try contacting EA through their live chat, they're actually pretty helpful. I'm pretty sure EA also has a seperate forum for these technical issues and many employees from their support team lurk there answering questions; so if something like thisd pops up again, you might find that forum more useful. I can't remember the name of it though, hopefully someone will be kind enough to remind me.

I'm currently trying the repair game option, although I've never had the dlc downloaded before. I will let you know if it works.

Edit: Running the repair game option did not change anything.

I just was in a chat with an EA Advisor though EA's help page, and was unable to resolve the issue. I don't know what to do now...

Hmnmn... Have you tried adding those DLCs to your account by using your BSN profile?

Dumb question: are you logged in to Origin, and trying to get the DLCs from the ME3 game page on Origin?

EA wants your money for free DLC. I see nothing out of the ordinary here.

Try Mgamerz modmaker. It bypasses the DLC check issues if you already have them.

Well then, you better pay up.

The only other thing that comes to my mind is checking your registered content, to see if - by any chance - those DLCs weren't added to your account even with blank window. If they are there I would refresh Origin one more time to check it.

My gf has the same issue too today.  I've tried everything I can think of without using mod maker but nope.

Even if you download the DLC unless origin knows you've purchased them it will still fail to load. You'll need to wait it out or use a dlc bypass like the ones mod manager uses. You don't need to install a mod tonuse the bypass. (Tools > install launcher wv or binkw32. Use mod manager start game if you choose launcher wv)

I just jumped to PC Master Race and can confirm the issue.

My solution was to purchase one pack - 400 Bioware points, for $5 CDN. Once purchased you can download all the free content you want, you just need a balance in order to do so. :/

I used the points on a Premium Spectre Pack and a Spectre Pack once in the game. I'm not happy that I was forced to purchase packs with real money as I've done fine without doing so on XBox. Origin, I've had enough of your disingenuous assertions.

I ended up doing the same. This was a very disappointing conclusion to the problem... if anyone is interested in playing, send a friend request to me at "beached_orca".
