The Hex Shield is one of the most hated abilities in the game because it blocks your team's powers and weapons without penetration mods/ammo. Not to mention line of sight. I want that piece of crap gone completely, as well as the "cover everywhere" level design.

Allow us to kneel or lie down for cover... or use the jetpack to evade.

About the booby trap device... we've already got that. The Talon Mercenary has Cain Mines.

Thanks DaemionM for this info. I'm learning all the time, and enjoying ME to the nth degree, despite the irritations from time to time. Appreciate your feedback.

My thoughts are that placing a protective Hex Shield, even if you can't shoot through it, could be quite helpful if there is a need to give oneself some temporary cover for a variety of reasons. Perhaps the cover I had was just blown to bits, perhaps I want to block the baddies from coming at me from the side of my location, etc. Depends on play style - especially if one wants to add some protection to a sniper's perch.

Well, the more you love something, the angrier you get when its ruined, and I loved Mass Effect like southern baptist churchgoers love Jesus.

Yes, you guys deserve it.  It would have been nice to have the Hunt trophy on our mantle.

I'd love to be able to play an adept whose biotic skill level seems as ostensibly sophisticated as the other adept class characters we encounter.

Namely, I'd like to be able to levitate.

Generally, I'd like the PC to seem like a competent and skilled practitioner of whatever the chosen class is.

Biotics just seems like it needs even more love, because there was zero acknowledgment for it until now.

Yeah, I think the last thing the series needs is a Krogan LI. The love interests should stay limited to humans and very humanoid species like the Asari or Quarians. Even the Turians were pushing it a bit. Lets not have Andromeda turn into Rule 34: The Game.

As I recall, the Omega DLC had a special paragon interrupt for the Engineer class.

It would be interesting to see character class play a larger role in non-combat interactions.

Rubicon has long since been crossed my man, a Krogan is no more sexually incompatible to a human than a Turian or a Quarian,so....

A suggestion: The face of a masked character should be revealed if they are the L.I., or during a death scene, etc. A cliche, I know, but something along these lines would require a role-play effort to see some thing special.

Perhaps a few assignment destinations can be alternately selected without using the galaxy map.

In the ME:A E3 2015 trailer, the N7 soldier swiped across different pictures to look at views of planets, vistas, etc. It seems like it could be put to useful effect in-game. The protagonist leaves sensors and cameras on planets and views them from time to time. At some point a chosen camera view is selected at one of the side monitoring stations in the CIC, and something of interest is seen. Perhaps it's a 'live feed' with data displayed, a zoom feature, etc. For example:

Shep: "Tali, look at the live feed we're getting from our sensors on Parag. What do you make of this?"

Tali: "That's just a small platoon of geth. Wait...that's odd... looks like they're setting up a drilling operation.

I've never seen geth drilling for anything before. What are they up to?"

Shep: "Joker, head to Parag in the Gemini Sigma cluster. We need to check this out."

Joker: "Aye, aye, Commander. New course. Heading for Parag now, sir."

And thus begins an N7 assignment without using the galaxy map.

Something we've never had?

This level of graphics on the PC (i.e. a  decent port where we can turn things up to 11):

Strong biotic/techy enemies.

In ME2 and 3, they felt only like bullet sponges. Vasir was a nice addition, but that's all.

ME1 handled it pretty well where enemies would actually ragdoll you across the room and use barrier when their health is low.

Not like I'm a fan of the constant "ENEMIESEVERYWHEREGOGOGOHOLDTHELINEIWILLDESTROYYOU!" along with the biotic spam.

But it was nice to have some diversity in terms of enemies. Like engineers who would overheat my weapons and reset the cooldowns of my powers...loved the challenge.

Heh, even liked it when the Krogan would charge you and when their health is low and they would use their secondary organs to regenerate their entire health instantly.

Very definitely. To a point, I get what makes people suggest that there's such a thing as a "canon" version of Shepard, even if I don't necessarily agree. Sometimes, Shepard just seems to make a little more sense as a soldier class by sheer virtue of other classes lack much in-game recognition.

As I recall, the Omega DLC had a special paragon interrupt for the Engineer class.

There was, yeah. And it was a pretty cool moment. I think it's the only class based interrupt in the whole series. We need more of that, even if it's just special dialogue options.

Yeah, so much neat opportunities wasted. They talk so much about making PC feel like he's your PC, but apparently my Vanguard was too shy to confess anyone that he's biotic. Even filling engie's table for example with disassembled droids and parts would be a great immersion deal with minimal efforts.

Because yuck.

That's wrong mindstate for an explorer, you know.

A Krogan Engineer who fills the role of our resident tech savvy genius, able to build and upgrade our weapons and armour (and their own, if a squadmate). Would be fun to have our resident Q and Tony Stark be a Krogan, shirking the trend that all mad science in the ME universe has to come from Salarian minds.

A female Batarian squadmate or crewmember, since the Batarians tend to get a bad rap (even if with the Hegemony it's often deserved) and are rarely shown as anything more than slavers or criminals. Plus we've never seen a female of the species thus far.

Volus (and Elcor) characters that aren't comic relief for once.

An antagonist that actually has valid reasons and motivations for what they are doing, besides being evil, brainwashed or crazy. Basically someone who's goals are not aligned with ours for most of the game, but could be convinced to join our side, or even have us decide to join them, not because it's the "evil" option but because their plan actually sounds better than ours.

A Krogan Engineer would be could, remember we had one sorta in ME2 when getting Grunt. But a actual squadmate, now that would be badass to have.

Now the villian, not sure if thats possible. But maybe the villian could be connected to the flight towards Andromeda. Doubt they will but maybe the villian can be used to connect what we did in Shepard triliogy to behind the motivations of the villian. Like maybe its Shepards fault why we had to go to Andromeda, not sure on it just throwing it out there. I liked the ME series besides the ending of ME3 and if we are leaving via the Ark Theory, Shepard could be used to blame for why we had to go to another galaxy in the first place lol. Right now I am just throwing crap out there to wrap my head around the reason for going to Andromeda lol

Another thing we've never had: Little to none of the story events are credited as Shepard's responsibility.
