I'll start by saying I know this will never happen (although its more likely than lots of other Kotor suggestions I've seen, and I've shot down my share of them).
The idea is a series of pre-Kotor 1 stories. For example, Jolee Bindo had several adventures before the events of the game. Some of them sounded pretty awesome when he decided it was storytime. Even if they weren't world-shattering adventures, they were interesting stories. Like travelling with the guy who's destiny was like a whirlwind (is that how it went?). Smuggling, loving, fighting, and generally being a cool gray-Jedi.
So I envision a series of shorter games, episodic if you will. Basically backstory highlights for: Jolee, Canderous, HK47, Atton, etc, They could even be somewhat choice-driven, given we don't know the outcome already.
