This is my second uncommon weapon, I was wondering if this thing is worth it's weight? Right now I'm starting to play Golds and manage to score in top 2 with my Shuriken V.

Any tips from the pros would be appreciated

It's fantastic unless you have tiny babby fingers. Has the 3rd highest deeps of the uncommons and snipers (but Incisor doesn't really count because garbage stability), which can be greatly increased by Cloak, and an almost negligible hipfire penalty of 15% which gives it almost AR like mobility. Essentially plays like a Mattock with better mods and faster reloads but without the shitty accuracy when rapid firing; or like an Indra for non lazy people that doesn't fire spitballs when out of scope.

I used it again recently and it's a pain to aim. Why is has to stagger so much with each shot is another BioWare hates me mystery.

^ It's dps is more then Platinum viable. Aiming it without rapid fire and the stagger with each shot is something else thought.

 

One great thing about it is that it pops cherries... er, melons... er, heads... er... whatever.

I used it a lot when first getting back into MP a few months ago. It doesn't do a massive amount of damage but is great for learning how to line up headshots and for supporting your team from a safer distance while trying to level up squishy characters. It's also very light for a SR.

^ Use rapid fire with it on an infiltrator and you'll see it's overall dps is just fine.

It's bad ass when the nemesis uses it! Always had a thing for bullpups.  I used to use it sometimes because its so beautiful, but it didn't really do a good job.  I'm probably just spoiled.  Black Widow for me.  I would use the Valiant rarely.

 

At the end of the day though....Saber is where its at.

This weapon is horrible. Out of all the weapon challenges spamming this one I almost got a carpal syndrome. USE WITH CARE. 

 

To compensate for this, I later modded it to fire 5 shots at once with greater accuracy just to see if it can get any good. It was still bad. Kind of more fun to use now, but still bad. It is a legitimate candidate for  the absolute worthless and most pointless weapon in the game.

^ Too make this weapon ok you have to maximise it's recoils to be zero, otherwise don't bother. PS - Scope mods actually contribute to reducing stability if you need to free something else up. And PPS - always aim for headshots.

^ Yes, you make sure you have really good BSN material decoys in the lobby.
