Also he's a hybrid human-elf and can serve as liaison between the two clashing worlds, or, I dunno, provide insight.

I'm replaying Dragon Age 2 and just realized Feynriel is going to 110% be a major part of DA4. He's somniari and can fight Solas better than anybody in DA FADE, and he went to Tevinter.
Also he's a hybrid human-elf and can serve as liaison between the two clashing worlds, or, I dunno, provide insight.
He's also the only person who actually learns from Hawke..without complaint.
Kind of a rarity.

He can also be made tranquil
So he'll only have a side mission at best if he appears

I rly hope that bioware will make little goody two shoes choices bite player in ass.
It would be hilarious if he after years in extremly corrupted society turned into cackling blood mage that slains puppies at parties. ![]()
I could already see pro-mages scream "But i was nice and good to him so he should be nice and good too!"

You already had a whole city of dumb mages who learned nothing. Don't be greedy.
Not even Hawke's companions were as cool as Feynriel.

So convenience for the sake of it?
Sorry but no, as someone who also wants him to play a major role I do not want Bioware to do something like that

Oh, but Feynriel will learn a lot from his Tevinter friends , just think about how his skills in kicking puppies and cutting himself (and his slaves
) had to improve. ![]()

What?? He can be possessed??
Yes, you can let the demon Torpor possess him. It leads to a side quest later on.

What?? He can be possessed??
Yep. You can sell his soul to the demon, and he'll basically become Freddy Kreuger.

Lol as if our demands mean squat, if Bioware sees potential in Feynriel (or in any other side character for that matter) they will use him and cover their bases later. If Bioware wants him in the game he'll be in the game, regardless of anyone's world states or the illogicality of it all.

I never said he won't be in game, but he's not gonna have a major role

So many big characters with lots of potential.... who really hang in limbo. Feynriel, Sten, Architect..... *cough* Warden (no, I'm not one of those fans calling for a return).

I guess what I'm really hoping is that they don't reduce then to literal pawn pieces on a war table with written prompts telling you what they did.

Sten isn't in limbo, he's the new Arishok

That's if you didn't kill the other Arishok.. who's also in limbo. And who knows how they'd handle leaving Sten in the cage. Which is what I'd do on some characters.
Shale is another I'd like to hear from.

The only way you don't kill him is by giving him Isabela who escapes, he wouldn't be the Arishok anymore based on that
