you mean that one and Corypheus's one you mean as you cant beat the game unless you kill that one.

 

Oh, darn...    Yes, of course. I guess I don't think it as a real dragon (more like a Cory's pet monster), so I forgot to mention it. So, yeah, two dragons; Hakkon and Cory's pet.

Wait... does he disapprove if you free her? If so, that's rather disappointing for the reasons I mentioned above. That doesn't seem like him. At that point it's just killing a dragon simply because it's a dragon.

 

I don't think so....he's just all gung ho for dragon-slaying when he sees her. I'm not sure you get dis/approval from anyone during that mission. I've never killed the dragon, though. Maybe then? Mostly I just want Viddasala to stop talking, so I'm running around like mad to get everything set up right.

^ You get disapproval from many followers if you do kill the dragon.

Just to let you know that I was able  to free the dragon the second time I tried after reading all the helpful replies.  So thanks again everyone.

 

I have now completed Trespasser and greenbrownblue I agree the final scene with Solas is a real tearjerker.  He had tried so hard to save his people and ended up making their lives more difficult and helping Corypheus rather than preventing him from causing  destruction. 

 

Well I'm ready for DA 4!!
