So is Fox News, Breitbart, and Newsmax.  Sad state of media.

Because those liberal media outlets in Europe sure turned out to be an honest bunch.

The biggest problem is this right here. If the news isn't telling you what you want to hear it's because they're biased. The myth of the "liberal media" gave rise to a new generation of yellow journalism. People who aren't interested in the actual news only want their news through their chosen political filter.

Nope the issue is that our politicaly aligned news sources aren't as immaculate as we like to believe, and are just as biased as the conservatives'. The question is how many of us would even expend the energy to verify the accuracy of the sources, and seek out  the sources that are as neutral as possible.

If people were actually concerned with the accuracy of their news Fox News would have no viewers.

And the same with MSNBC, but that just means that your average liberal and conservative likes having their beliefs reaffirmed. A political echo chamber.

I find that the best way to get a somewhat accurate view of the news is to look at a variety of news sources with different leanings. You never know when a controversial story is being covered by one outlet and ignored by another.

Or how a different outlet has a different take on the same story.

Same. On a single day i read the Daily News, New York Post, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and surf websites like Daily Mail.

Quite right, but Fox News viewers are literally less informed than people who don't regularly follow the news. MSNBC is an echo chamber that sometimes reports the news. Fox News is propaganda.

Agreed. Though there are times when it seems like MSNBC is closing in on Fox. Like it's some sort of competition.

I would still watch.

Spent many years in the hospitality industry, and through the eyes of clients, I saw that while some disagreed with what was said, they also had not heard that news or opinion before from their usual suspects. And right after Katrina, while some stations seemed to only repeat the same dismal stories 24/7, this station also revealed some of the heroism, humanitarian tales, and lighter moments coming from the Gulf.

Lies of omission are still lies after all.

Sorry, but that's moronic. During the aftermath of Katrina Fox News was calling black people "looters" for taking food from abandoned shops and white people "foragers" for doing the same thing. Nothing on Fox News isn't neo-con propaganda. Just because their slant is different doesn't mean its worthwhile. It's yellow journalism.

The folks watching nearby were rather upset at any looter going into their homes, shops, etc, as there were many flood refugees with us at the time. Love and hatred are not bound by color, and this was in plain view by all. So I shall repeat my support for this station over that of another's recall of those same events.

In the meantime, I hope Adam and some other cast members from his shows are available for VO work.

First section: I live in North Mississippi, and was assisting folks from New Orleans and the Gulf Coast during Katrina.

Second section: Some here appear to enjoy throwing stones....

What does living in North Mississippi have to do with denying Fox News' bias? It is a fact that during the aftermath of Katrina they called black people looters and white people foragers. You clearly put your own political bias ahead of facts.

As a witness, I do not recall that occurrence. What I do recall is that Fox News gave coverage to the damage in Mississippi, while most only seemed to focus on New Orleans. And I was with actual victims seeing this event with their perspective.

But then, I do not seek out the details to fit my own agenda as a rule....

Being with people from the area has nothing to do with Fox News' coverage. Google "Fox News Katrina black people looting" and stop with this nonsense.

Lol. For what? Seriously, for what? Adam Baldwin had like 3 or 4 lines in one game. And they weren't even that interesting. Might as well have been Quarian #236.

Isn't he dead? I got the email. You want him back for another larger role? Eee...he's not really that good. He wasn't that good on Firefly, either. Sorry. He relied on facial expressions alot, but even those were rather stiff and artificial. He tried too hard.

He played the straight man stupid guy for a reason. He does not have great range, at all. And VO demands much more talent and attention precisely because you can't rely on facial expressions. His VO comes off as sounding more like a caricature.

Don;t drag back some crappy voice actor just because you like his politics, or whatever the heck he's doing. Shaking his fist at the gods. Idk. I don't care. The game comes first. And I don;t see him up to the task of more than 3, or 4 lines.

He can be the new Refund Guy. There.
