In SP the rage will be there but the sales will still come in and the people will still play.  If we are honest around here this is not the case with multiplayer.

A trip to the Mass Effect MP section will show you there are still people playing.  They are still talking about the guns in the game and what mods to bring!  THAT is when you know that you've made a great game.  Many people fear ME3 MP was Bioware happening to catch lightning in a bottle.  The game is great for what it is and still is to this day.

If we now turn our attention to Dragon Age and Bioware's latest multiplayer game........yeah.  There were a few improvements made but really    A trip to that forum will show you people are saying the game is a ghost town and they can't find rooms (this was also my experience a while back the last time I tried to play).  Let's also not forget major issues such as the RTC not dying and literally breaking the game and the key glitch which also broke the game and these made it into the retail release even though the game was "tested".......

I love ME3MP.  I hope a game that good can be matched.

I played DA:I mp for the first time not long ago it took me 5 mins to realise I wouldn't find a game. So I started on my own and got somewhere, I didn't know where or why I was fighting Qunari, pretty soon I stopped caring and wanted it to be over.

Some mage shows up just as I stopped caring but I didn't want to say anything so I just sorta went through the motions till he gave up and I died.

Pretty sure I was average at ME3 MP but I didn't ever feel bored playing it and if I wanted to play by myself I had to set it to private.

Fingers crossed they haven't tinkered with it too much and we get some extra game modes. (And free maps.)

Hardly, if they put no effort into SP people will ditch purchasing like mad.

Personally i hope they spend the time to ensure its single player credentials remain

A good multiplayer is what really makes a great game. Look at all the top selling franchises, CoD, Halo, Battlefield...

Bioware should put a lot more effort into the multiplayer. I wouldn't mind paying for MP DLC especially if they continue to push out new maps, characters, weapons, enemies, etc.

Please bioware, give us MP people some love

This is Mass Effect, not Call of Duty.

If you want MP, go over there.

LOL top-selling doesn't mean top-played. Counting sales is one thing, counting how many people KEPT their game copies is quite another. Those games are for the brainless who only need one button to be familiar with.

There should be a counter section for how many used copies of each of those games you'll see going for 5 bucks on Walmart & EB Games shelves.

Lol pleasy! You single player scrubs are only capable of pressing one button. Romance this romance that, oh no combat, let me hide behind my romance option.

If bioware wants to make money, they should put some time into the DLC and make the MP better.

Just look at the activity of the forums, how many people are still posting in the mass effect 3 sp anyways?

Yea more multiplayer, because I'm so into repetitive gameplay. If I want to play multiplayer I just go battlefield where the action is at

No it most certainly is not what makes a great game.

Cd Red, great sales, fantastic reputation currently, no MP

I expect they'll try and ride both horses but they to be very careful how they do so. They may destroy their reputation, making many of their existing fans loudly hostile. Maybe MP response would make up for it but seems nuts to me.

Mhm, the fish are biting. This is good bait. And I agree about the MP - one of the best game experiences out there. Everybody try it while people still play it. Discover the Krogan in you! Headbutt your enemies into the ground.

I'll be seeing you in the SP campaign drop-in skrimishes. :)

I also agree with this.

Without the SP content MP's will find they no longer have a favourite game to play.

I really hope the Single Player is short and mundane with no romance options so bioware can focus on pleasing its true fans, the multiplayer community.

Single player just isn't good for profits.

The only way a Mass Effect campaign is repetitive is if you play it the exact same way, every single time you play it.

It is an absolute fact while the SP of ME3 was surrounded with unhappiness....even rage and threats to the point the ending was expanded upon (for free) to more of the same and general unhappiness the MP was loved and expanded upon.  You will catch more flies with honey than you do vinegar.  This is why MP are the biggest fans.

Stay away from anything DAIMP related and build on the foundation laid out by ME3MP, that's a recipe for a successful multiplayer right there.

I've played every option available, though I find a very small difference at times saying, "I didn't know bioware put that much thought into it."
Hardly worth the effort of skipping all the repetitive cutscenes, the repetitive story, the repetitively short combat sequences and repetitive dialogue.

The only reason you SPs think the campaign isn't repetitive is because you're all goody two shoes thatre too afraid to renegade.

Fallout 4 and The Witcher 3 were great sellers and they didn't have any of this MP mode nonsense.

I've played the whole MET over 25 times and I have NEVER found it repetitive on either paragon and renegade or character class. I found the MP modes of both ME3 and DA:I extremely repetitive and both are really downright boring.

Sure it is, but not as much as multiplayer. I mean it's really always the same map. If you want a great example of repetitive then play SW Battlefront.

Mass Effect 3 did have it and it was a great seller. So your point was what again?
