Fallout 4 and The Witcher 3 were great sellers and they didn't have any of this MP mode nonsense.

The whatcher? Never heard of it. I'll give you fallout 4, but it would sell better with a multiplayer. It's 2016 for crying out loud. Your simple brains really enjoy playing with simple Algorithms?

Speaking of CDProject Red, I can't wait until they finish support for the Witcher and shift into Cyberpunk mode.

Aside from the setting being more appealing to me, I am really excited to see what the multiplayer in that game is going to be like. Hopefully it will be co-operative in nature where we can build our team of operatives and execute missions together with the whole map of Midnight City available for all players in the group to run around in.

That and total droid conversions.

Well I'm sure it's not because of your cheery demeanor that he doesn't want to play with you.

You seem like such a lovely lady.

I really hope the Single Player is short and mundane with no romance options so bioware can focus on pleasing its true fans, the multiplayer community.

Single player just isn't good for profits.

And there you have the TRUE purpose of this thread, which is blatant trolling. Reported as such. If you got nothing better to do, that's your problem; not ours. Amuse yourself at your own expense.

Don't feed the troll, people.

No, I know for a fact that you would probably win. Your gender to me is irrelevant. I've been beaten by female players and I've beaten female players.

But if you simply MUST know fine I will tell you: on my good days (like today) I have very strong distrust of humanity in general or simply put I learned a LONG time ago that I work better and faster alone. Every time I worked with a group (which how BW currently does it's MP) it causes not only me, but other players nothing but grief and is in the end just a waste of everybody's time. I also have zero patience and/or tolerance to put up with the toxic waste dump one has to dive in with a good portion of PvP games as well and it doesn't matter if it's on XBL, PSN, or PC. If I want to listen a bunch of douchebags I'll listen to the US Republican Presidential candidates.

Heh solo for life baby!!! I just hope the loooovely cooperative people don't expect me to fish them out of a dicey situation during a zombie apocalypse. I walk alone and I'd incap people to serve as zoombie distraction while I ride off into the sunset laughing my candy bum off.

Look I'll be the first to admit that there are some games and genres of games where the MP is most of the appeal and is more fun to play UNO is one of the few MP games I like to play as MP (provided that people playing know what their doing and don't set the rules for points score that would take you forever to beat). While I suck at the MP I will say that Hydro Thunder Hurricane is a blast to play in MP. Even some fighting/wrestling games are fun to play in MP (I prefer to have them come over to my home or vice versa than online).

I also don't think every game needs it and right now there is absolute glut of these games on market and that no one is really playing. I would have bought Titan Fall and maybe Star Wars: Battlefront if they had a solid single player mode. I'm not going to waste my money and time on a game that if I come in about a year into it where only dedicated players still play that doesn't give me any real incentive to play a game that otherwise might have appealed to me.

Titanfall and Battlefront aren't failures because they lack a SP mode, though.

Counter-Strike is still massively popular 17 years later and it's never had a SP that we're going to acknowledge exists. League of Legends is one of the most popular games on PC right now, and it's got no solid SP mode either.

Not every game needs MP but then, not every game needs SP either.

but ME:A still needs to have a MP on par with ME3 MP, because that was awesome and the community was awesome.

For the record, I admire the patience of those willing to actually attempt to reason with the rabid anti-MP crowd.

I don't have it in me to even bother trying, anymore.

Hardly, if they put no effort into SP people will ditch purchasing like mad.

Personally i hope they spend the time to ensure its single player credentials remain

Yep, SP is what Mass Effect is known for. I'd like to see a competitive multyplayer in this game though, the coop was boring. It was fun at first but now when I think about it, I just think "ugh".

I didn't say that Titan Fall or SW:BF were failures but I have no incentive to play them because everybody that is still playing them is so ahead of me that it wouldn't be fun for me to play and if I were still a PC gamer it would be the same Counter-Strike or League of Legends. I don't think ME:A needs a MP to be successful. I think it might be better without a MP mode.

Honestly it's the MP crowd that does that. When other SP crowd try to explain our problems with MP Modes it's the MP crowd that basically comes in and cries: "SHUT UP! BIOWARE SHOULD ONLY LISTEN TO US AND NO ONE ELSE!" This thread is a prime example of that crybaby mentality.

Get with the program, sister. Mass Effect is all about the story and 0 about anything MP-related. Go to WoW if you want MP action.

League of Legends actually offers pretty powerful champions for cheap prices you can quickly get as a new player, and starting out you'll play against bots in a co-op mode. Even once you move into full PvP, you obviously aren't being matched up with the top tier players.

Counter-Strike doesn't even have an unlock system except for cosmetic skins and tons of noob friendly servers.

Hell even Titanfall didn't have a bad system, as the guns you start with are still strong and can easily hold their own against the unlocked stuff(which takes very little time to unlock). The problem with that game is that it offered an embarrassingly little amount of content.

I can't speak for Battlefront but my understanding is that it suffers the same problem as Titanfall. That and insane amounts of content that previous Battlefront games had is missing.

No PvP game is going to be around as long as League and especially Counter-Strike without a solid strategy for bringing new players into the game.

Stay away from anything DAIMP related and build on the foundation laid out by ME3MP, that's a recipe for a successful multiplayer right there.

Excepting that they are moving from ME3's Unreal engine to DAI's Frostbite for MEA.

Let's hope they bin most of the DAIMP construct and embellish the ME3.

Can you blame us?  We leave the SP community up to their devices and LOOK at the games we have now?  We just came off of DA: I.  You guys are screwing it up and its obvious you aren't doing your job.  It's time for a group to step in that WILL get these games ironed out.  And here we are.  Met with almost as much hate and rage as you all have for Bioware.  It's sickening really.

When Bioware was single player focused, their games were mediocre at best. Knights of the Old Republic? Mass Effect 1 and 2? Dragon Age Origins? No one liked those. I doubt anyone on the planet even played them. Bioware's reputation in the industry was terrible when they made games like that. It' only since they've started courting multiplayer gamers that they've produced such well loved classics as The Old Republic, Mass Effect 3, and Dragon Age Inquisition. Their reputation has never been better.

Since I'm no longer a PC Gamer (THANK GOD!) and have no love for FPS, why should I waste my money and more importantly my time on a product that has done very little to encourage me to give a chance. You tried and I appreciate it but the truth is that I'm loner with too disdain for much of gamer culture that even if I were a PC gamer and fan of FPS *shudders* and MMOs (or whatever genre League of Legends is in), it wouldn't be fun for me or anybody else.
