And there you have it.  Turn your back on a great game with depth to the gameplay and unique factions to battle on nicely done maps while doing side games and seeing who can get the most grabs, biggest inferno grenade or cain mine kill streak or who can snipe xx target first.

 

Evolve is pretty nice with the teamwork potential so I won't say NO game has came close to that, but still....forming a team such as a fury, justicar, shockwave baterian/krogan or a reave.  That is good gameplay and goes beyond what most games do.  And SP gamers just turn their back on it.

 

Not appreciating what is well done and what makes good games "good" is why we are in this current situation. Luckily the MP crowd is here to remedy this.  You're welcome.

All I ever seen from every single MPer in this forum is nothing but constantly whining, bitching, and crying about how nobody listens to them and yet we got DAIMP which is either lackluster or just plain sucks according to most of you and no one seems to really like it. So why should BioWare or any dev for that matter listen to you? If you don't DAIMP which is basically the same damn thing as ME3MP with fantasy weapons and prettier graphics.  

 

Honestly BW would be much better not listening to you guys and make ME:A without a MP mode because if I was a betting man I would bet money that no one here will like it either,

The fact is that the SP peasants aren't delivering anything but a romance for every single conceivable type of human, alien and otherkin orientation that exists or could hypothetically exist within every possible multiverse, along with billions of pointless sidemissions, while the games decrease in quality of gameplay and even narrative all the time due to their constant crying.

We are MP players, a moniker that strikes fear into the hearts of all SP scrubs who hear it. We are not the monsters that they claim, but to those that dare trespass on our epeens, we will be more frightful than even their worst nightmares. The time has now come for the MP Master Race to claim their birthright, to rise up and seize control of the Mantle. Then, with our guiding voice serving as a shining beacon for the loyal Biower developers to toil under, we can deliver requests that will result in a game free from frivolities, free from pandering. Free, and secure, in the absolute knowledge that its community of highly skilled MP players alone are capable of surviving the hardships of the competitive gaming industry; That the glorious MP Master Race alone is fit to lead the gamerverse, and all its citizens, through the trials of tomorrow.

Different players like different things. We all want fun games, but we don't agree about what aspects of the games are fun.

 

 

That is very true. I was sick and borderline delusional when I posted that rant, but I do think way too many players on both sides put an overdue focus on graphics to the point where honestly I can't tell much of difference between the Xbox One, PS4, and a PC. IMHO though I think too many focus on frame rates and hyper-photo realism to almost the exclusion of everything else. I want more story, better controls for games, UI interface, and so on. Graphics and framerates wouldn't be my first and only concern. I had more fun playing Life is Strange a game that graphically speaking looks like it's barely last gen game but I found it's characters, world, and adventure more fun than a game like Fallout 4.

Why do you give a rats ****** what i like or i appreciate? None of those things are what makes a good game for me, story, characters and great gameplay are what i look for. I think its cool you like mp but thats the extent of acknowledgement you'll get from me.

I was trying to treat you MPers seriously but if start with the Master Race BS I treat you like any other racist like a scumbag. It was never funny even when Crowshaw started that BS for the PC gamers and no matter what Crowshaw and the other PCMR morons will say it never will be funny or retaken. When I think of the term "The Master Race" it's not PC Gamers that I think of. All pictures of women I've ever posted, besides the craigslist thread which I deleted, I did have permission seeing as I was in a relationship with each and they were perfectly fine with it, so stop assuming that you know so much about me.

 

I understand you are mad that the Off-topic was closed, but that's no reason to try and lock threads by derailing them.

Stick to the VSN and be one of the thousand other dudes trying to get with OWA.

 

As for the multiplayer in Andromeda, they really need to get the lobbies fixed. Easier means of connecting to games, less disconnections from server, and if you are dropped from server please allows us to keep xp and credits already earned, statistics. I think ME3MP did a lot of things well once you were in game, but it is/was a nightmare just getting to connect with friends, sending invites w/e when people d/c. If they just clean that up I will be very pleased.

I largely agree with you - I think the focus on graphics is insane - but from it I draw the opposite conclusion. PC games might let me mod the UI to get one more to my liking, and they let me choose my input device rather than forcing me to use a controller. For controls and UI, I'd choose PC every time.

Story, which also isn't important to me, doesn't seem to favour either platform.

I seem to derive as much pleasure from modding the games as I do from playing them.

Because for better or worse we are all joined at the hip.  The only voice that really matters is $$$$$.  Mindless gamers who want to see the OTHER team on their radar while they call in "kill streaks" so the computer gets their kills FOR them as they run around ADD on full blast have the loudest voice and COD is king, but when we get other games.  Games that offer some thought process and lets players benefit from an IQ as opposed to who can shoot 1 or 2 rounds in the other persons big toe for the kill is a god send.

 

The more people that accept mediocrity and garbage the worse things will get because devs know they don't have to try as its a business and more $$$$ for less work and effort is a good thing.

 

You can like all of those things and theres nothing wrong with that, but you said it yourself.  "gameplay"  Story and characters are good.  There's nothing wrong with playing games and enjoying that, but you can also go to the movie theater.  We need the gameplay in the game.  There needs to be a way to appreciate how great the skill of the MP gamers are with exclusive love interests that only know you're worthy of their body when you can put up 100k a game with no equipment on top of more money and items as you are a top agent gracing the SP with your presence.
