The MP ones. They were free.

Especially whichever one gave us the glorious asari Justicar.

Mass Effect 3 had some great dlcs. I'd choose Citadel, but Leviathan is a close second. The reveal of the Levianthan in the final mission is one of the best scenes of the series.

For me the ME3 dlc's from favorite to least are Omega > Citadel > Leviathan >>> FromAshes.

My only real disappointment with Omega it that it can't become a hub once the mission is over, but if you like Aria's character then go for it.

I enjoyed Citadel and Leviathan the most, then From Ashes, and then Omega in last place.

Levianthan is the most "boring" yet expands the Reaper lore and fits perfectly the tone of the main story, it's more of the epic/intriguing, lovecraft feel.

Omega fits alright into the story too and is an overall fun action packed mission, Aria is awesome and the interaction with her is great, main downside is that you do not bring squaddies. It's completely skippable but worth playing, it reminds Mass Effect 2 mission style alot more than that of 3.

From the ashes, well Javik includes some dialogue that imo are really character defining for Shep, for roleplaying purposes I really liked Javik as it gave me some much desired dialogue for my paragade femshep, he's quite alright as a companion too and was quite fitting into the main story. For this and some expanded lore, I think it's the best dlc to complement the vanilla game itself.

Citadel fits the worst into the story but it's not a big deal, nothing you cannot work around with a bit of head canon. It also doesn't fit for a super disciplined renegade shep playthrough since well it's about messing around and having some fun time-off with your crew. Negatives aside, the dlc is really fun and has alot of endearing interactions between the crew, it's like a homage and a goodbye of sorts to the journey. If you want to see and talk more with your characters as themselves rather than inside the story Citadel is great. It's best for making peace with the game rather than improving the vanilla experience.

tldr: All dlcs have something good about them, it depends mostly on what exactly the player is looking for.

I believe it's best to pretend that Citadel happens after the ending.

Citadel, no contest. It was a proper farewell to the trilogy and the characters I came to care so much about.

That final scene always hits me right in the feels.

"We've had a good ride."

"The best."

Thst scene - with whatever LI you have, gets me every time. That's like IT. The final goodbye.

Same. It also got to me even when I didn't have a LI and joker said a few words. That was maybe even worse than with a LI... just saaaad.

1. Tie for Citadel and Leviathan in different ways. If I'm supposed to take Citadel seriously, then its #2 or even #3 (I have theories about it is all). If any of my ideas about the DLC are correct, then its a clear #1. Otherwise Leviathan is at top, a very nice package. In terms of amount of content, Citadel wins by far. I just hope its not truly as silly as it normally seems.

2. From Ashes. Annoyed at the circumstances around its content (originally in game? could have been free?), its still very solid and enjoyable stuff, and I can barely imagine my playthrough without it.

3. I don't hate it, but Omega. Cutscene glitches and it being some sort of side pack and it being even Omega without some cool reveal about it, temper its appeal to me.

Citadel. Without a doubt.

I enjoyed Leviathan, From Ashes, and even Omega (which many people seemed to dislike) But the interactions, humor and dialogue just really made Citadel the greatest out of all four. I like how it gave Shepard more personality, added scenes between you and your LI, let you have personal conversations with your crew, referenced previous games, oh, and the Armax Arena. Being able to fight alongside your old squadmates was awesome. I also just want to mention how much I enjoyed all there was to see and do in the Silversun Strip.

Citadel by a lightyear. In my opinion, the best DLC Bioware ever produced.

Citadel, of course! Nothing like seeing your Old and new Crew interacting with themselves. It's like what the Normandy SR-2 should've been in ME2(Lots of people but everyone keeping to their rooms... Come on!!)

The Earth one.  Destroyer > all

SP only? Citadel.  One of the best DLCs I have ever seen.  Not a money grab, but a true fan service and a wealth of content.  Worth every penny and a tip of the hat to Bioware.

The Citadel :

Amazing soundtrack and main + side missions. Great Story. Armax Arena is simple amazing. It is like a small ME3 Multiplayer Championship without co-op.

From Ashes :

Javik is amazing, and tons of ingame scenes coming with this great DLC, the Eden Prime mission is however a bit simple and bored but the rest of the content and the particle rifle makes the difference.

Omega :

Around 3 hour gunplay and fighting alongside with Aria, one of the most iconic characters of the Trilogy.

Leviathan :

This DLC is nice too, but a bit of dissapointment. I thought this one will bring finally a closure for everything but instead only the Reapers true origin got discovered.

The Multiplayer DLC's are the best btw.

Citadel for sure is number 1.  I love all the stuff it adds to the game while playing, I can go back to the citadel after every mission and more stuff is there for me to play.

Leviathan is second, it was a fun mission, I again liked how it could be spread across the game.

Omega was trash.  Once figuring out the next gen consoles were going to be trash, I fully committed to PC gaming and left my boxes in boxes.  When rebuying the Mass Effect trilogy, I didn't buy Omega again, and I feel like running through Mass Effect 3 I miss nothing.

I don't really consider From Ashes DLC, I had the signature edition on my xbox so it was free.  I did rebuy it for PC though, but still it's a character, not really comparable to other DLCs, but it is far better than Omega and equal with Leviathan.

Citadel. It was fun to play, it was funny, charming, goofy, and had some of the best dialogue in the series. Its also nice to see the characters let their hair down for a bit. And you get more time with you love interest and some of the best scenes in the series.

Leviathan was good the first time, but I honestly find it tedious on subsequent playthroughs with the back tracking back to the lab. From Ashes is cool and Javik is a great character. Having the Eden Prime battle them play on that stage made it great.

I didn't like Omega. I don't like Aria, and how the game is so focused on combat. I didn't care about the arc in the station, its characters, or the conflicts. It was easily the weakest of the bunch.

Definitely Citadel. I liked seeing a more light-hearted and funny DLC. It had some fun mini games, and I enjoyed the party, getting to hang out with most of the surviving members of Normandy in such a casual setting.

Yes, it's just a shooting gallery. And it's dark. Hell, every second cell in this game is so dark, you can't see where you're supposed to be going. No, it's not an artistic or atmospheric choice. It's there to hide the textures.

To be fair, I consider Omega to be the best shooting gallery in the game, including Cit DLC and its Arena. Makes use of weapons you get in a playthrough, NG+, DLC packs.

If you like *extensive* combat scenarios, play Omega on Insanity. Even its Rampart Mechs and Adjutants are more durable than many other normal enemies, and you get swarmed by Cerberus as this seems to be the secondary base for the whole faction.

If looking for story and integration with the rest of the game and series, you'll get some, but the least of any of the DLCs. It also should be timed right since it presents itself as a major arc in itself (length of 3-4 missions). Also must stand Aria.

Omega also adds more of a 'pushing through opposition' element to the playthrough. Thematically, much of it is about breaking out of dire situations primarily through will. Adds to the war part of the game, which may be lacking in some points and especially if you only get Leviathan and Citadel instead.

I consider Omega the most optional and I like it the least, but it does bring things to the game that I appreciate. I just wish it was implemented better, and that I didn't get that damn cutscene bug.

Truth be said, all DLCs are fundamental for any ME player, either for fun, or lore. Buy one at a time, or all together, but buy them :).

Favorite: Citadel. The perfect description for it is "the old and predictable clichè that actually worked". You laugh a and "feel" a lot.

Worst: Bioware Points.

I really liked Citadel. It serves as a nice goodbye to your squadmates before the final fight against the Reapers. I loved all of the jokes and overall silliness of the DLC.

Citadel is closely followed by Leviathan, as it gave a lot of backstory to the Reapers.

Single-player DLCs of Mass Effect 3, I love them all especially the Citadel one like the rest. Without them I feel like most of the story and fun is gone. Only thing that bothers me is, their price on Origin(even ME2 DLCs). Hope they drop down little bit in terms of price as ME:A is approaching, not now but maybe near launch.

Curious. They work just fine with my game.

The only DLCs I didn't even download, although they are free, are the multiplayers. I never got the knack for multiplayer. Especially when it comes to shooting. The only thing I played were competitive racers in ages past. Back, when they really tried to implement car physics and not arcade style carts.
