First of, tried to look for a similar topic before creating a new one (i know I read something related to both ideas but was not able to find it).

Secondly, to the matter at hand:

I am curious, what could be used as "class" interrupts for dialogue options. We all know Andromeda and the engineering bit (which was quite awesome, and yes i know it was not an interrupt per se.). I would love to see more stuff made specific by class, but what could be made for them?

Yes the engineer could hack stuff quicker and easier, The biotic could tear open closed doors or take out some baddies. The infiltrator? The soldier?

What are your ideas?

Would be nice to have class specific interrupts.  Of course it would be nice for characters to use their class powers in cutscenes, and have the murder-pistol replaced with the currently equipped weapon.

They actually did use the equipped weapon in some cutscenes in Leviathan DLC.

It was amusing to see Tali fire off her Wraith like it was some kind of unlimited ammo AT-12, because guns in cutscenes in ME3 fired at pre-determined rates of fire.

I like the interrupt in Omega dlc.

What would be nice is if the main character isn't whatever class to do the interrupt, but can designate a squadmate to do the interrupt, if he/she is that class.  Of course the player has no way of knowing until after the fact. Still would be nice to have in the game.

edit: Could have an interrupt for the main character to choose a squadmate, if he/she isn't the right class

I think they need to overhaul the classes.

During a cutscene, the Infiltrator can cloak, then decloak behind an enemy -- holding a knife to their neck.

(Click for non-fatal wound/do not click to scare.)

For a sentinel, use the tech armor overload on someone. Or if they try to escape use throw to stop them from escaping. For a vanguard, using the biotic charge to catch up with someone trying to run and knocking them down.

Also, I think it would be cool if there was a class specific mission, like the spacer/colonist/earthborn missions in ME1.

DA:I system would work just the persons name on screen with the option to ask them to step into the conversation.

I'm all for this as long as they make it clear that class specific interrupts are labeled correctly.  The engineer interrupt in the Omega dlc went unused by me (until I read that's what it was) at first because it showed up as a paragon action.

That colonist side story was something special. I still feel bad for her.

Enemy: I do not know who you think you are, but you are no threat.

Infiltrator: (Walks backwards and dissappears)

Eneny: Where... did he go?

Infiltrator: ... Behind you.

Enemy: You... do not scare me.

Infiltrator: (Interrupt begins to flash) ☆ ☆ ☆

I want class based convo/action options!!!!

Especially if some do more effect than immediate cutscene coolness. More playthroughs.

No preference though I'd like a variety of interrupts that are random
