I can definitely see that happening in Andromeda.

 

The first one is when you first launch into space, or when you are spacewalking or some such.

The second one is very "Afterlife"-esque, a seedy, underground place where you need to be as sharp with your wit as you are with your omniblade.

I feel compelled to point you guys to an elementary Introduction to the Big Bang Theory. The explanations are in layman's terms but also asks:

 

"... it doesn’t answer many nagging questions about the development of the Universe. Are scientists missing something? Is the big bang just completely wrong? Do we need a new big bang theory? ".

For example: distant galaxies are expanding at a rate faster than the speed of light.  

Also it contains: "The big bang didn’t just hurl everything out into space, it created space itself and is currently still expanding that space"

And: What is dark matter?
