Can someone help me out here? I posted this in the technical issues forum as well but hoping here may get a response. 

 

I recently played some more of Inquisition and made it to Skyhold. Playing further from there led me to the mission where you can talk to Varric on the battlements and summon Hawke. When I go to select "Customize Hawke", the Hawke that appears is male. When I went to check my Keep, the Hawke is set to female, as that is what I had set up prior to starting Inquisition. I re-imported my World State, reconnected to PSN multiple times, tried re-syncing to the Dragon Age servers. Nothing. Hawke still appears as male and it is really irritating, not to mention immersion breaking as I always imagined my Hawke being female. 

 

I talked to some EA representatives over chat and their only solution was to "post on the forums so a specialist can see". I've done that. No response yet over there. Maybe here will get me an answer? I hope so!

Are you sure you imported your World State correctly?
As long as I know, you can't fix it, unfortunately. All you can do is start another playthrough.

Since you got the customize option, that means you did import a world state, but it sounds like the wrong world state was imported when you started the game. You can't change the world state in a save file after you import (or choose not to import) so unfortunately Pokemario is right and there is nothing you can do fix this other than restarting.

Also, do you have another world state that has a male Hawke in it?  If you do, have other decisions from that world shown up in this run?  If so then the wrong world imported.  

If you don't have a male Hawke at all then that's seriously odd.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say you "reimport" your world state, as that's not possible. You only get to import it when you start a new game. Whatever it is that you're looking at there, it's not trying to import your world state.

 

In order to use a custom state, you need to set it up in the keep, then export it by pressing the "export" button. Then when you create a new game in Inquisition and import a world state, it should give you the date/time you last changed the world state you are importing. Check that's correct (compare it to the one in the keep).

I think you may be able to correct it through a Save Editor if that has Hawke's gender as a correctable option which I believe it might have.
