How many targets does singularity prime max?

How many targets does shockwave hit/detonate?

From the sound, I seem to be getting 2 max even when enemies are clustered close together.

What powers prime/detonate the most targets?

I believe Singularity primes 2 and shockwave detonates 2.

Also, old, but pertinent.

H.M.A.

Weapons, if you can handle charge weapons, use the Arc Pistol. If not, Mattock is a good choice at this stage. CSMG is a good option too.

Scorpion or Falcon if you're wanting a stagger-stick instead but you're putting a lot of your damage on powers and those aren't always available. (Either because you just got hit by bees, or you're facing an enemy that can become immune to power damage)

Single Target:

Singularity

Warp

Biotic Explosion

Warp

Singularity detonates Warp into another Biotic Explosion.

***

AoE

Singularity - Trying to get multiple people in it.

Shockwave

Lots of Biotic Explosions!

Warp a leftover if needed, the detonation of Singularity might catch em into another...Biotic Explosion.

***

Shoot between powers and when available, but you never want to fire your weapon and take damage that shieldgate's you into having to stay behind cover and mess up the timing on your Biotic Explosion. If you can get away with the shot take it, but you want those rotations going off whenever possible.

Singularity by itself can often eliminate weaker enemies as well as just being a big AoE damage for a while. Don't be afraid to caste it somewhere you think enemies might be likely to come if you have the chance.

Cheers. :wizard:

Singularity will prime any target that comes in range. Since the radius and lifespan is short it will typically hit about 3.

Shockwave seems always to detonate 2.

Maybe it is designed to be so, but when a BE is detonated it will "unprime" every other biotic effect in its range. Considering the singularity's radius and shockwave's range, it might be impossible to reach far enough to detonate a third target.

The most feasible combo of creating 3 BEs is Reave + Cluster Grenade, with shrapnels spread properly.

You sure of that ? It seems ti me that even if cluster grenade can detonate 3 explosions, when a reave is detonated on a target all the other targets primed by reave are unprimed.

Shockwave detonates max 2 targets because it has 2 instances.

Clusters can detonate 3 but it's pretty hard to do.

That's what I see usually see, but I remember someone mentioning there has to be a certian distance between them - the unpriming seems to occur in an area.

If a single instance of a power (like a single cluster) hits more than one primed enemy, it detonates on one but un-primes the other(s). That's why, to detonate 3 BEs with a single reave/cluster grenade combo, each cluster needs to hit only one primed enemy.

It happens, but it's rare and pretty luck based.
