After playing with #1 players in a variety of games they are almost always no where near #1 as far as good players goes.  I've played a few games with eastnight and he didn't seem to be a bad sort to me.

Lol I've heard about some leaderboarders being rather rude towards less experienced players. 

 

One of my friend told me he got laughed at in a peri match by a leaderboarder who claimed to have "1000+" promotions and asked him when can he keep up with him. My first reaction was wondering why on earth you would still play peri with 1000+ promotes...

I never find them rude... but I think they are bored.  They are either casters or avvar.  They will open doors and run ahead to clear the zone.  They are like clones of each others.   If you switch their names I wouldn't know one from another.

 

They don't talk over the mic except one time an assassin kept dying in zone 5.  The guy said something like "you really should run to a corner and hide" after he revived him.

I've played with a bunch of leaderboard players they're all just a bunch of show- offs. The degree of egotism varies though. Overall theyre cool cats with the occasional few rotten apples.

Everyone loves a bit of yolo mode right? Just that promotion lords do it on NM/HB, others do that on threatening/perilous.

 

What's worst is when scrubs tried to yolo and fails... then spam over here 500 times before bleeding out.

That's true, particularly when you are someone with high prestige

 

I can remember every time when I carried some obviously under geared pugs through a NM match, and then get a kick mark when I hit ready with a lv1 agent the next match I'm not offended as much when that happens though, I'll just leave that lot and join someone else. It will only be their own loss next match when they try struggle through NM with lv20/21 blues.

Quite a few of my friends got kicked by random pugs too. It seems new players might not recognise end game gears and don't know how to judge a player's potency, even when they just got carried... 

 

I always remembered once in a NM pug when a noob shouts across the mic saying "Kick him! He's a noob using archer!" I lolled and lolled and lolled at him...

No body likes walking lmao. That's why I don't like playing reaver very much. By the time I walk into melee range someone has probably already wiped that group of mob by jumping onto them with assara's leap or charging bull or whatever...

You might get there a second before me..but once I am there I take the kill lol. People, at least the ones I played with and at the time, didn't kill things fast enough in NM. So I was there to kill

I like walking.  Sometime I walk in a "S" pattern to extend the pleasure of walking.
