they improved the drop rates especially for certain items like heart of pride stone daggers pact belts, every1 and theyre gran has them now, save up 30k gold or so at a time then go wild

I did this several times. I got mostly level 8-15 blues with a superb rune here and there. My friend who just started a few weeks ago has gotten most of the stuff I need.

I'll keep at it but my luck is bad lol.

At any level the game is addictive. Btw, leaderbrders (atleast the ones i know well) who are pugging in threating, perlious are because can't find players in NM or HB. If I'm in NM or HB I only play with friends or experienced gamers. This matches take so much longer when 2 or 3 people are faded or not getting doors as the run progresses. Who wants that????

I'm not a leader boarder but I agree 100% - I won't PUG anything above Peri because it turns into a disaster.

I play Nightmare unless I'm on a level one. Usually end up soloing but I don't mind running with less OP players. Sure, there are some mooches. But, most of the new players do their best.

Death2allweaboz is the only leaderboarder I consistently run into in NM. Always seem to hop into his games in Zone 5. Love that free XP tho.

Someone understands :')

On a more serious note, this is pretty much me. When on NM I do my best to contribute but I can only seem to survive on Lego and Saarebas. I lack the gear to kill fast enough so I stick to support.

I actually feel horrible if I die too much or get faded and will leave post match to go back to playing solo.

Yep.  Perilous is mind-numbingly boring if you have high stats.  I would rather play with newbies who probably shouldn't even be in Nightmare than drop down to Perilous, or, God forbid, Threatening.

Edit: I also know from first-hand experience just how much having someone so overpowered in a Perilous game can ruin the experience for others.

I tend to avoid playing Perilous, but most people either leave or try to kick me when I show up with lv 1 in NM pugs.

Obviously I don't pug Perilous, seeing as my post pretty much condemns playing that difficulty with stats like mine. Or are you telling me to pug Nightmare with my alt that has no promotions?

You also have to understand that you are one of the few who has a bunch of promotions but chose to go back and create a no-promo account for fun.   It is different for you because you wanted to enjoy the difficulties.   Most people would love to have someone else OP'ing in a match so they could just sit back and get the free promo in a difficulty that they can't solo.  So when they have enough stats, they could go back down one or two difficulty and show off their own OP'ness :P  That's why I kept joining JJ's NM matches LOL ;)

But seriously it is actually quite fun for me when someone else carry the match.  I could go and try out some of my weak agents that I don't know how to play and don't have to worry about the success of the match.

Threatening pugs are more talkative I've found.  Perilous groups usually have moochers.  Nightmare and above are a crap shoot.  Sometimes you get a decent group, rest makes you want to spawn a revenant and go into stealth to watch the ensuing chaos.

I don't understand why people would prefer playing with someone who ensures they don't actually get to do anything. Why not just not play the game in that case?

You need to understand that Campout can pretty much one shot everything in Perilous with a basic attack, yet he pugs it with level 18s. He should be able to easily solo Nightmare, enabling people who do want to mooch to promote much faster.

I agree on threatening being where you go to find people to talk to - I rarely run across people who are mic'ed up in the game when I go to the higher difficulties.  I assume most of them are in party chats and not in the game chat.

That's the case with me and my friends. It's not unusual on a weekend to have a party going with7 or 8 people, running 2 games. Makes it very fun

We used to be that way but a lot of our group has moved on to other games :(

Archer or Virtuoso spamming power chord are perfect for this. You don't even need too much high stats. But then they change the difficulty to NM and I switch to LEGO or AW. :)

I do the same in NM, that is what you are failing to understand (with lvl one characters).

I'm confused about what you are going for when you do pug in perlious????? Me to stop killing in games you just so happen to be in????

Btw, I do carry people... ALOT.

I don't have a problem with it as long as they are trying and playing smart...

Stats?

All core stats are over 100. :)

The game is played differently when in perlious, NM, HB. Or with what characters you have in a party. Or even who. I still try to go off to myself to kill stuff but if I'm being trolled I can't help if your heal on kill is not working. I can say the same for other ldrboarders, even Snakebite, if someone underpromoted was trolling him.

If you bring in a nonpromtion character in a game I'm in ... you should probably leave if your goal is to "win" by trying to be on top of the scoreboard.
I don't shoot for that. Just 15 KS so as to squeeze out as much exp as possible, if is highigher so be it...
I have friends I play with who kill more than me, it doesn't both me. It is part of the game.

For anyone to say a game is ruined because of said reason is ludicrous. Imho

I was genuinely interested in stats and class because I cannot 1 shot enemies in NM at level 1 with my stats.  I thought we were around the same stats but I did stop playing for a few months.

Reaver?    That's my go-to level 1 NM class.  (and only cause I don't play rogues)

Lego, templar, Saarebas (if you set it up for finisher to hit enemy first), a couple of others that are obviously op
