I am almost finished my first run though of DA:I on my PS4.
I was wondering if when I complete it through to the end of Trespasser, can I got back to one of my saves and to see what would happen with different choices.

Yes. After the Trespasser credits roll you are thrown back to the game menu. At that point you can only load the most recent save before the final cutscenes of the DLC, or any save before that. So, if you have a hard save right when you arrive at Skyhold, you can just load that up and play with different choices, play Trespasser again and see the result of said choices.
Enjoy!
Excellent, I hope to go back to just after my arrival at Skyhold and make some different romance decisions.
Wouldn't have minded the option to restart with the same character. It's already loaded in the Keep, what's to keep me from finishing the game, then go to the menu and hit 'restart'? I wanted to replay with the same inquisitor. Different choices.
Hm. Seems they didn't imagine anyone would want to play with their first Inky. Duh! And trying to recreate the same face over again . . . grr.
^ I empathize, as I prefer to play the same character repeatedly and would love this option. However, the Keep doesn't store your appearance, only the basic information about your character: race, class, gender, name.
The other reason I might reload an old save is that I heard about some people replaying and having the companions banter bug show up. I have a save from Haven in the beginning if I want to replay and might do this, but I would be willing to try a new character, only I don't want the horrible banter bug I've heard about. I didn't have it with the first play through but I have run across people saying here and there that sometimes new bugs show up in different playthroughs . . .
Who else has played with a brand new character and noticed new bugs compared to the first? Maybe they (hopefully) patched this out and I have the GOTY edition, so it's behaved really well. 380 hours on the first character. Just don't want to replay halfway through with another character and find out I get new bugs.
