I found that the best way of keeping Vivienne from being divine is to not recruit her.  Then it is either Cassandra or Lelianna.

Another way to guarantee Vivi doesnt become Divine is Never talk to her after you recruit her, and only talk to her Once ( One time only!) at Skyhold to get the Wyvern's Heart quest before WEWH so you don't meet Bastiens family and give her unwanted approval in the run for Divine. Also being allied with the Mages is a strong negative with Cass ditto the Wardens.

And about Vivienne... I almost forgot that I need her for that darned Knight-Enchanter skill.  I imagine the scroll doesn't appear if Vivienne isn't there.  I don't use the sword all that much, but there's something satisfying when a Revenant or a dragon drags me towards them and I say, "So... you want me close do you?"  Whereupon I draw my spirit sword and make them pay for their silly mistake. I am also quite fond of the never ending barrier that the KE skill provides.

Luckily you can get the KE book in Val Royeaux from the guy who sells all the codex from area's you've travelled and missed. He shows up after you reach Skyhold, he's in the same shop as the guy who sells schematics.

Actually not.  There is a bookseller in Val Royeaux that will have the book for all specializations for the chars you don't hire.  If Vivienne isn't with you, the KE book will be there instead of in Skyhold, for example.
